Better than I expected
I would stay again for sure. I was better than I expected, so much better than a hotel. it was cozy, clean & comfortable.
Warm & Inviting
From the first turn off the main highway, down the winding path through the thick woods that led to the cabin, the glow from the undergrowth of trees with their peachy colors was so beautiful against the snow on the ground...magical!
Our cabin was just PERFECT!!! Decorated for Christmas, it was like coming home. Just a WONDERFUL time we had at a special time of the year to stay in a cozy cabin in the woods. Can't wait to go back again! We Loved It!!! Would highly recommend Thunder Cove Cabins to all our friends & family.
My wife and I took a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was just as pictured. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was quite comfortable. The owner had broucheres for all of the area attractions. Had good water pressure in the shower. We would stay there again next time we are up in the U.P.
Quaint cabin on a beautiful lake. Very clean and organized. Communication was great throughout the rental process. Great hiking throughout the area, will definitely be visiting again!
Great cabin close to Pictured Rocks
We loved our stay here so much we didn't want to leave. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. It was so quiet and peaceful. Kim was a pleasure to work with and responds to message very quickly. We cooked most days, but there was a great bar restaurant we visited called Tap 21 that was beautiful and had great food. Jack's was a nice grocery store. We visited many of the waterfalls in the area, Oswalds bear ranch, kichitipiti, and pictured rocks cruise was well worth it. We highly recommend this cabin!!
This is a very cute cabin in the woods. It takes 30 seconds to walk down to thunder lake.
The cabin was very clean same with the property. We enjoyed a bonfire every night and grilled. We were able to take the kayaks out that the property supplied. They also provide a paddle boat and two bikes. We would totally rent this place again. It’s a great central point to visit Kitch-iti-kipi, Tahquamenon, Oswald’s bear ranch and pictured rocks.
