2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Directly On Water
In 1991 I was going through a rough time and looking to rent a place that provided serenity and tranquility. I read an ad in the newspaper titled 'VACATION YEAR ROUND' And I rented a place on the water just 4 doors away from the property I now own.
Kay purchased this Townhome in 1994
Why Kay chose Dunedin
After Renting down the street I JUMPED on the chance to own in this wonderful location. While walking one day, the seller was putting a sign in the window and that was it for me!
What makes this Townhome unique
This home is warm and wonderful and hugs me every time I enter. While providing solitude and a slice of heaven it is just steps from everything!

Great for fishing and the beach
My family loved staying here. Plenty of room and super close to beaches. The fishing is great right off the yard. Thanks for the hospitality Kay!
Serenity by the Sea says it all
Lovely house. Awesome location. Looking at the water is relaxing. Just up the road from Dunedin downtown. Thank you.
thank you it was just what the dr ordered.
Loved being right by the water. Saw lots of dolphins and interesting birds. The Townhouse was nice, but does need some updating and general maintenance.
Not impressed at all with Honeymoon Island. Nice walking trails, but that's all.
Maintenance Issues Need Attention
Dated furnishings in this condo can be overlooked, but there really are some maintenance issues that need to be fixed. The heating and cooling unit did not work properly, alternatively roasting and freezing us in turn. Nor was it possible to turn the climate control unit off, which made our 10 day stay a challenge as outdoor temps fell well below normal. Kay seemed to be aware of a heating problem and directed us to a space heater, but the central blower just wouldn’t turn off leaving us very uncomfortable most of the time. Similar to this was a dryer that seems a major fire hazard – with temps running way way too hot. The sliding glass door in the master bedroom has a lovely view, but it no longer seals correctly, and the wind literally howled through continually until we stuffed towels along the channel to block the wind. And then there were the ants…
I’ve rented many properties in the past, and this is my first negative review. I give it because I think there are some maintenance / safety issues here that need to be addressed. It’s a cute little place right on the water and has great potential. Kay did say that this unit is being sold soon, so maybe it will get the updating needed to bring it back into full form.
Delightful Dolphins of Dunedin
Having dolphins, double-crested cormorants, and other creatures visible off the back seawall is fabulous, coupled with the easy walk to the Dunedin Causeway, and waking to bayview sunrises: hard to beat!
There are downsides: sometimes pelicans hunt in packs of 5 (who knew?), and their collective splash-dives can be distracting! :)
More seriously, there were rare annoyances common in condos: one neighbor liked to toss breadcrumbs once a day: the flying, squabbling gulls were annoying.
Overall, a fun experience; we'd do it again!
Dunedin Causeway connects directly to Pinellas Trail which runs the length of Pinellas County. Bike, walk, or roller blade along the water's edge or simply sit and watch the world go by. Bicycling on the Trail brings you to the nearby downtown areas of Dunedin, Ozona, Palm Harbor, and Tarpon Springs where you can enjoy antique shopping, watching the fishing boats or sampling the foods of the many restaurants along the Trail.
Sailboat, kayak & paddleboard rentals available on Causeway and jet ski rental available within a mile.
Immediate proximity to Honeymoon Island State Park and short ferry boat ride to Caladesi State Park (has been been rated #1 Beach in US.)
Walking distance to Publix Supermarket, Walgreens
Drugstore & various other shops.
Visit Clearwater Beach which is less than ten miles away and also the home of Winter the Dolphin.
Tampa International Airport is approx 30 minutes away.
While in Tampa you can visit historic Ybor City, Lowery Park Zoo, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island Water Park or Hard Rock Casino, or Florida Aquarium.
Less than two hours away is Walt Disney World, Sea
World, & More!
Enjoy a slice of solitude from this two bedroom two bath waterfront townhouse which is just steps from Everything!
