A Wonderful Weekend in Portland
Thanks so much for a lovely place to stay for the weekend. My two friends and I thought that the Lizzie Court townhouse was very quiet and safe in a very nice residential neighborhood. The amenities of the townhouse met all of our needs. We each had our own bedroom and there were 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed; coffee pot, nice refrigerator and stove, microwave and all the silverware, utensils, cutlery, pots and pans that we could need. The beds were all foam mattresses (the best for comfort), the townhouse was spacious, there were plenty of towels, there were shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the showers and hand soap dispensers at all the sinks. In the kitchen there was dish soap, dishwasher soap and spices and condiments for cooking. We were not lacking anything. We would like to stay there again in the future.
Great place to stay in Portland
Lizzie Court townhouse was a quiet and safe place to stay in an all residential neighborhood. It had all the amenities and comfort you would want in a vacation rental. We'd like to stay there again in the future.
We stayed at this house with our friends and were happy with the accommodations. The house was clean and comfortable.
We had a minor problem with a broken toaster while we were there and got a quick reply when we contacted the owner.
Would definitely stay here again.
Our only complaint was that we couldn't figure out the tv. Yes, we are senior citizens and not very techy but some instructions would have been very helpful. The tv was connected to a cable box but it didn't seem to work and we didn't know how to use Roku and Sling tv. We were able to watch some older shows and movies but couldn't get the local stations at all. Since we didn't spend a lot of time at the house, it wasn't a real problem, but it was annoying to not be able to find current news and weather.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Hooking up the icemaker on the refrigerator would be a nice touch so we could have used the ice in our drinks and coolers. Minor inconvenience though.
Great base for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend this place.
This was a great house for our weekend getaway with friends. It was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable.
We are senior citizens and our only complaint was that we couldn't figure out the tv. We couldn't get any current shows or news but were able to watch some older movies and shows. There was a cable box but it was also hooked up to Roku and Sling tv and we aren't familiar with using those.
We did have a minor problem with the toaster while we were there. It broke and popped the breaker and GFI. A call to the owner was answered quickly and we were able to fix that problem, although I think the toaster is history. Appreciated the quick reply.
Would definitely stay here again.
3 Nights at Lizzie Court
A three generation family trip of 5 adults and a 5 year old can be a challenge and this accommodation really helped to smooth out the living situation. The townhome has plenty of space providing privacy and common space for all to enjoy. The pool table in the garage was an especially nice amenity. The townhouse complex was quiet, well kept and neighbours friendly. The property manager reached out as soon as we arrived to ensure we had someone to contact if needed. The entire family reported having a wonderful time in Portland and staying at Lizzie Court enhanced the experience!
Overall great stay!
The house was super clean, neighbors were nice and quiet. The stairs were a little much for us but we had a newborn and 4 year old. Washer and Dryer worked well. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. I give this property 5 stars, however the pillows were very flat and even folded in half weren’t fluffy by any means. Other than that we would definitely come back! Nice property.
