This incredible one bedroom condo is available for rent at an affordable price! The Wyndham Canterbury at San Francisco is located at the heart of downtown San Francisco. This resort is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars at Union Square, an two blocks from the city's world famous car system. The car system can take you to the golden gate bridge, fisherman's wharf, and china town. The resort has a fitness center, computer room, and game room that includes a pool table and Foosball table.

The condo available for rent is a one bedroom condo. The condo comes with a partial kitchen with an electric skillet, microwave, refrigerator, cookware and dishes. In the bedroom there is a queen size bed, flat screen TV and a bathroom. The living room has a couch that turns into a queen size sofa sleeper with a flat screen TV. There are complimentary laundry rooms on each floor of the resort building.

The Wyndham Canterbury at San Francisco resort front desk requires a credit card authorization of $150.00 upon check in.

The resort offers valet parking for 36.00 per day.

The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the condo. The resort requires the person responsible for checking into the condo to be 21 or over. The name on the reservation with be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. We can put up to two names on the guest confirmation and the rest of the guest can be added at check in. Any changes to the guest confirmation once confirmed requires a change fee.

Cancellation policy: The condo rental cannot be canceled or refunded less than 30 days from the date of check in. Cancellations more than 30 days from the date of check in are subject to a $129.00 cancellation fee.

Exceeded expectation

Everything was fantastic. Super comfortable bed and towels. I took my college age son for spring break - he slept on the fold out couch in the living room and I had the bedroom. It was a perfect set up for each of us to have our own space. The doorman were friendly and helpful - it felt very secure. Can't wait to go back!!

Wonderful place to stay in San Francisco!

We LOVED the unit and the location. Honestly, the unit we had far exceeded our expectations. How often can anyone say that?! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of a bit of a disappointing check-in. The gentleman working the desk that evening did not seem at all interested in making us feel excited to be there and welcome. In fact, he was paying so little attention that he directed us the wrong way to our room. He sent us to a completely different section of the building. My family waited with our luggage in the wrong section while I returned to the desk to say that we found no room with our # on it. His response was nonchalant in the extreme. "Oh, yeah. You're supposed to go that way instead [indicating the opposite direction from where he had sent us]." No apology... So I went back up to get my family, and the four of us hauled our luggage back to the lobby and over to the correct wing of the building. We all took it in stride and laughed about it, but it certainly set a bad tone in regards to the level of service for the Wyndham Canterbury.

We awoke the first morning to find a note under the door about a "gift" for us at the concierge desk to claim by 10am. When I presented myself and the letter at the desk, the concierge (who was actually quite nice) asked several questions about what time we had arrived the evening before (8:30pm) and then handed me a sample size of Gold Bond lotion as our welcome "gift." He then said that there was supposed to be a gift of chocolates for us, but "oh, well. They must have run out." I said that my kids would have loved that and asked to let us know when the stock was replenished, which he agreed to do. Though we saw others receiving chocolates as they arrived during our stay, we never did. Again, not a big deal, but it's the details that stick out sometimes.

Aside from those minor irritations, the stay was wonderful. We basically just did our own thing, which worked out well since we loved the unit itself and simply walked through the lobby on our way in and out of the building.

Bad experience

It was a very disappointing experience! It took us four hours to check in the room! Due to a mistake that happened by one of the front desk employee. They told me someone at the front desk had canceled my reservation and they couldn't find it. Then I had to wait hours with my family while they were trying to sort it out! They claimed that the computer was down! And couldn't find my name in their hard copy guests list! It was so frustrating. After four hours they let me in a room. We took our stuff out and rested! Then at night as we were leaving for dinner, they told us you have to leave this room and move to another one! I never experienced such bad customer services! We moved to another room. Because I was tired of talking to them. The front desk people didn't know what they were doing and there were not even a manager I could talk to. I stayed for three nights but they really messed up the first day and a half for us. I would expect better customer care than what we had. Very bad experience and don't think I will stay there again!

Owner's Response: Hello, Thank you for your stay and review. The front desk system was down when you arrived at the resort about 4 hours prior to the check in time. The front desk system was up and running about 4:30PM. The resort front desk was able to check you into the condo with your delay being about 30 minutes from the scheduled check in time. We did upgrade your stay to a 1 bedroom presidential condo for your entire stay. You were not required to move condos. The confusion was due to the resort front desk system being unavailable upon your early arrival. Thank you WOW condo rentals

I would have given 5 stars but we left our umbrella to hold at the front desk and when we went to pick it up the next day somebody had walked off with it. Not happy!
