RECENTLY UPDATED! TRUE SKI IN/SKI OUT BUILDING!

Sleeps7
Bedrooms 1
Bathrooms1
Space 72 m²
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 2 - 4 nights

Overview

About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 7 in Beds,

The Lodge at Copper, located in New Village at Copper, is a true ski-in/ski-out building and the mountain’s most sought after lodging address.

Put your “sticks” on at the building’s back door and ski down to the American Flyer lift. At the end of the day or just for a cocoa break, cruise down Scooter run to the same door. No lugging skis and boards across the village! Truly no-hassle skiing and riding!

This updated and tastefully decorated unit is approximately 780 square-feet and located on the second floor of The Lodge at Copper and sleeps 7 in beds (Master Q, Q and T pull-out sofas and twin bunk beds).

If cooking is your thing, the kitchen has updated appliances and is stocked with all the cookware, plates, gadgets, glasses and utensils you’ll need to whip up a feast fit for the high country!

Long day on the slopes? After dropping your boards and skis in the heated ski locker room, skip the cooking, and treat yourself to dinner in the village! Afterward, retire to the living room and screen a movie on the massive 48-inch wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DVD. Turn on the gas fireplace to perfect the ambiance!

Maybe you are achy from using those ski-and-ride muscles??? Grab a towel and head over to either The Lodge’s outdoor hot tub or one of three saunas located on floors 2-4.

When it’s time to turn in and recharge those batteries for tomorrow’s epic powder, the bedroom has a 46-inch flat screen tv to catch the late show--and you won’t need your glasses!!! Nestle down into those fine linens and super-comfy mattress. Got kids? Pop some corn and send them off to camp out on the bunk beds in the living area alcove. If you’re making it a true family affair, grandma and grandpa can keep an eye on the kids in the living area when they snuggle in to the queen and twin pull out sofa beds.

If you want to be first-chair, hurry----but first lather up in the stunning tumbled-marble, glass-enclosed shower! Close off the shower area's alder wood door and your guests can use the double-sinked vanity, with wall-mounted 10x magnifying mirror and hair dryer. With two of you getting ready at the same time, you’ll be first chair for sure!!!

Linens and towels are provided for 4 people. Additional may be requested.

No contact with the outside world for a few (glorious) days and need to check in (or maybe you just want to Instagram, FB or Twitter some fabulous photos to make your friends green with envy!)? We’ve got you covered either way with free, wireless Internet service.

If your base layers need freshening, our building’s new washing machine and dryer are located on the first floor and will spiff up those togs in short order!

Before you leave us, make sure to watch the snow fall or listen to the summertime babble of our beautiful stream from the balcony off the living room---no hot tub chatter on this side of the building to disturb the solitude!

Smoking is not permitted in the unit or on balcony at any time.

By now you surely have decided to come for a visit! As you pull up to the extensively renovated lodge at copper building, you can park your car in the heated garage located underneath the building. If friends come a calling, they can park their sleigh in your other parking spot, located on the stream-side of the building. An elevator makes easy work of getting your suitcases up to the second floor.

Skied yourself silly tired? The copper coach runs 8:30 a.M. To 11:00 p.M. Please call 15 to 20 minutes prior to the desired pick-up time. Copper coach runs 7 days a week (through April 20th, 2014).

Hope to see you soon!

About NJBN Property Management

I grew up in the southern United States with a family of "beach people". I first visited Colorado in the 1980s and wanted to live here since that visit. I still very much enjoy the beach, but mountains, snow sports, biking mountain passes and hiking are now my passions. I live a few miles from Copper Mountain and enjoy sharing my condo with guests from near and far.

NJBN Property Management purchased this condo in 2009

Why NJBN Property Management chose Summit County Colorado

The Lodge at Copper is unique: there is no other Copper location that offers TRUE ski in/out (downhill to the American Flyer lift and downhill from Scooter Run to our building's back door ski rack). I chose the Lodge at Copper because I wanted to ski in the morning, during my lunch break and before the lifts closed. I also wanted an attractive, well-kept/managed building with a hot tub and heated ski locker room. I visited many Copper properties, but The Lodge at Copper fit my criteria perfectly.

What makes this condo unique

The Lodge at Copper is the only true ski in/out building at Copper. No walking across Center Village plaza, skis over shoulder to the lifts, polling for 10 minutes from wherever, or schlepping your skis down to a bus stop.

Take your skis from the back-door ski rack, put them on and ski down to the American Flyer Lift and back to the same door via Scooter Run. The Lodge at Copper is well-kept and quiet. Located steps from Center Village, you can easily take advantage of Copper's activities and dining whether on foot or ski.

No car, no problem!! Just like Copper Mountain, Summit County also offers a FREE bus system, the Summit Stage (www.summitcountyco.gov/586/Transit-Summit-Stage) with pickup at Passage Point and other locations. How about shopping and dinner in Frisco? Get in some cross-country or skate skiing time at the Frisco Nordic Ski Center. Head to Silverthorne for some terrific outlet shopping. Take the bus to ski another resort! The Lodge at Copper is simply THE BEST location for a perfect vacation!

Perfect ski in-ski out!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 nights in Copper Mountain starting on February 14. What a perfect get-away! The condo was well equipped with every possible thing needed, plus a bunch of extras! The owner was a delight to work with prior to our trip, providing restaurant recommendations and more. To top things off, we were greeted with Valentine's chocolates and wine upon our arrival. Very highly recommended!

Perfect location for our ski weekend

  • 5 of 5

We had a great trip location was perfect, easy drop down to American flyer lift.

Sherri was extremely helpful.

The apartment was well set up and manageable with 6 of us. It was a little tight, but no more than expected.

Nice to have the wii,( if you have more that two kids consider bringing extra controllers.) And a decent selection of DVDS.

This is a wonderful property, everything we had hoped for!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the condo and it's location to the lifts and village. It was comfortable, clean and we loved that there were extra bath towels. I never seem to have enough!! It's easy to get to, the parking is ample and the luggage carts were appreciated to get everything we brought with us up in one trip. Thank you for making our Christmas gift to each other amazing. We would definitely come back.

Nice condo, great location.

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four, stayed here for two nights over the holidays. The condo was clean, warm and well appointed. The one thing we needed that we could not find, was a larger skillet. However, I read in another review that you just need to tell the management company and they will make sure you have what you need. The bunk beds in the alcove off the living room made the unit seem much larger than it really is. Even with teenage boys, we had plenty of room. The management company was very easy to work with and very responsive. Thank you for hosting us. We will stay here again!
