Great little hideaway

  • 5 of 5

The best trip we've ever had to our favorite city. This gem allowed us to feel like a local and not just a tourist. Can't wait to come back and yes, we'll be staying here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here June 2-4 and we loved it we loved the neighborhood it was quiet but still had a lot of nice shops, restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy near by. The apartment is well maintained and modern. This will always be our favorite spot every time we come to NOLA.

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

I actually don't have any complaints. The property was located in a very safe and quiet area on Magazine Street. We were not in walking distance to Canal Street but it was quite easy to get there by bus (which ran every 15 or 20 minutes). Not much of a view on the private roof but that can be a good thing. My wife loved the bakery down the street and I loved the Brothers Lounge which was a few steps away. The property was located in a alley but you can lock the gate to the alley. We was able to park for free right across the street from the property. Overall I loved the property and location. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!

Cute getaway space!

  • 5 of 5

The studio apartment was great -- easy check in and out, great location, quiet, and comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and she always answered promptly when we had a question before our trip. (she gave some good suggestions for local restaurants too)

We loved having our own little getaway for the weekend. The fridge had some waters and creamer for coffee in the morning. And, with the french bakery 2 doors down, it was so easy to have a quick breakfast before hitting the streets or riding the cable car. There are fun shops, art galleries and some really good restaurants within walking distance. (We loved the Superior Seafood "oyster happy hour" on St. Charles!)

All in all, a great stay. We are keeping this on our go-to list for our next visit to New Orleans.

The Perfect Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time in New Orleans, so we relied heavily on online information for planning our trip. We feel so fortunate that we chose this apartment to stay in, as the location and the apartment itself is amazing. My husband and I were hoping for something cozy, clean, and authentic to the area (we wanted to feel like we were in New Orleans, not just a hotel room that could be anywhere), and we wanted something close enough to transportation, the French Quarter and the Garden district so that we could enjoy the entire city, not just Bourbon street. We are planning on making a yearly trip to NOLA, as we are completely in love with the city, and I will try not to stay anywhere else. We really felt like Magazine St. was the perfect place to be: tons of local restaurants and shops, beautiful homes and local flavor, but within easy walking distance to the streetcar (LOVE THE STREETCAR) to get around to the French Quarter, and not too far from uptown and Audubon Zoo. This apartment really made our whole vacation, I have never enjoyed vacation accommodations as much as I enjoyed this one. The bakery right next door was AMAZING, they have great coffee and pastries and we made a trip there every morning of our stay. The location feels safe, but fun and full of life. The private entrance is safe and convenient, and the surrounding shops are all very friendly. The inside of the apartment is beautiful and very thoughtfully laid out. We felt very at-home and loved the rooftop deck. We appreciated the huge amount of towels and bath products provided, as well as a lot of good options for storage, which was helpful as we were there for 10 days. All in all, it was the perfect getaway. I think the best sign of a vacation rental is when you feel like its your home when you are there, and we really did. Thank you to the owner for providing such a wonderful place to stay in such a beautiful city.
