LOVED it !!

  • 5 of 5

Laurie's apartment was great, we absolutely loved it !! Looks like the pictures online only BETTER. For being a studio apartment, I was amazed at how organized and efficient it was and because of that it felt much more roomy & comfy ! It is very nicely decorated, was SUPER clean, way more clean than even some of the more expensive hotels I’ve stayed at. Everything you need is here, kitchen well stocked and the bathroom as well. Very nice, thick towels…again, better than most hotels. Instructions on how to operate the TV were on the coffee table, which was nice. Apartment was quiet, location felt safe and was perfect for strolling on Magazine street with plenty of shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. Close to public transportation and within minutes really of all the great places NOLA has to offer. This place has it ALL !! Laurie was great to work with, quick in her response times and very helpful. Would most definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends and family.

September in New Orleans....

What a wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary! We loved this apartment

on Magazine St.!! It was so close to the restaurants we wanted to go to that

we never even got in our rental car after we parked on the side street when we

arrived!! Laurie has thought of everything you need to have a comfortable

stay!!! La Petite Grocery was amazing. So was the jazz brunch at Commander's

Palace. Upperline did not disappoint. Laurie suggested a new restaurant

called Shaya and it too was fantastic! We will definitely be back to stay here

as there are soooo many other restaurants we want to try and this location is

perfect! Thanks so much Laurie!

Fun on Magazine Street!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 4 days enjoying this wonderful apartment on Magazine Street. Who wants to stay in a hotel when you can stay here?! Great location! Within walking distance to Audubon Park, Tulane University (Go Green Wave!) and many coffee shops, stores, and, of course, restaurants! Street parking is easy if you rent a car. The place is just as pictured and the owner was available if needed but not at all intrusive. The unit is on the second floor with a patio- Perfect for a glass of wine or fresh air! The bed is very comfortable (and I am picky). All amenities were included - even coffee if you did not want to walk downstairs. When you stay here, you will feel like you are living in NOLA, not just visiting!

I really enjoyed staying here! The place looks just like the pictures. It is in the middle of everything- close to shops, restaurants and I had easy access to the bus station and trolley. It was also nice and quiet, perfect after a day of sight seeing. The apartment was clean, cool, and had everything you could need (plenty of towels, hand soaps, a few bottles of water and such). Laurie was prompt to respond to my emails when I had a couple of questions and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in NOLA. If/When I come back, I know where I want to stay.
