Our unit is unique because it is on the south corner of Taylor's Crossing. With 1,058 square feet of living space, our condominium is one of the largest units in the village and can accommodate up to 8 people, although 6 persons would be the most ideal. You are a VERY close walk to the lifts, but not facing them. This is a good thing, because the noise those other condo units are subjected to from music, grooming, snow cats, snow making, and skiers, while 50 yards closer to the American Eagle Lift, can be a BIG drawback. You want a little piece and quiet at some point, right?

There are 2 bedrooms. Bedroom number 1 has a king size bed, and bathroom with dual sinks and a tub and shower. Bedroom 2 is ideal for the whole family, as it has a full bed over queen bunk bed that can sleep up to 4 more. The remaining two can sleep on the roll out couch located in the living room. We have a memory foam mattress topper available for the roll out to help make it nice and comfy. The second bathroom is located just around the corner from bedroom 2 and has a shower and bath combo as well.

Our living room is attached to the kitchen where you will find all the amenities you will need, such as the dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and full compliment of dish wares. All kitchen appliances were replaced with brand new stainless steel appliances in June, 2014. We just installed new granite, sinks, and faucets in May of 2015. In May of 2016, the entire unit was finished with a major refresh including new carpet and tile, a fresh coat of paint, new toilets, and shower fixtures. The dining room table has seating for six, and the satellite TV with nine HBO channels and internet will keep you entertained while you cozy up by the gas fire place. We also have games like Scrabble, Risk, Monopoly, and Clue to play with the family.

There is a large balcony off the dining room, where you can watch the beautiful sun rise and sun set from our south facing unit. Very few units have this feature. There is a table and chairs you can relax on as you watch the ice skating on the frozen West Lake, or the fireworks during the New Years and nearly every weekend during the Summer. After a hard day of skiing or summer biking, you can visit the hot tub, steam room and sauna to help sooth those sore muscles! There is a fitness room in the building, as well as laundry facilities on the 2nd and 4th floors.

We are located in the heart of Center Village. Just a few steps from the famous Sugar Lips Mini Doughnut Shop, and around the corner from dozens of restaurants and hopping night life. Down the way is the Copper Creek golf course for our summer visitors, and the awesome tubing runs in East Village to help spice up that ski vacation in the winter. Paddle boating and kayaking is a fun summer activity, as are the go-carts, climbing wall, mini-golf and a zip line just outside the condo. Head down to the outlet shops in Silverthorne for the afternoon. Relax in front of the fire pit in the evening. This is not just a ski town, it is a year around family fun town!

For the serious skiers, enjoy a short walk to the American Flyer and American Eagle high-speed Quad lifts. Enjoy over 2,400 skiable acres. Would you like to try another resort during your stay? Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Arapaho Basin, and Keystone are all less than 30 minutes away.

Your car will be safe and warm in our exclusive underground parking facility. Elevators, with luggage carts, will allow for easy transport of all your luggage and equipment from your car to the condo. There is a large cage located here to store and lock your bikes for our cycling guests. We have two Fuji Mountain Bikes for you to use during your stay. Our unit is smoke free. Pets need to stay at home please.

*** Be aware that most condos offered for rent add additional sales taxes to your rental bill, most often topping 11%!!! They also may add other surcharges, force you to buy additional insurance, and they inflate and tax their cleaning fees. Please keep this in mind when comparing value during your search for a great place to stay! We include all taxes in the rate, we only charge a refundable security deposit ($300), and our cleaning fee ($140) is only what it costs us (Our manager, SkyRun, charges us a $110 cleaning/linen fee and $30 to check you in and manage your stay). You have the option to pay half the bill at booking, and the remaining half plus your refundable deposit 30 days prior to your arrival to help ease your budget. Every payment is 100% refundable prior to 30 days. Before you arrive, I will mail or e-mail (your preference) a detailed packet about everything you need to know, from directions, maps, to checking-in, helpful hints about access to discounted lift tickets, and what to expect during your stay.

About the Owner

I first moved to Colorado in 1977 as the son of a military pilot, who was stationed in Colorado Springs. Growing up in this beautiful state, I gained a love and appreciation of the great outdoors, and majestic Rocky Mountains. Skiing was a frequent activity of myself and family growing up.

I left Colorado in 1990 to attend college, and started my career as an airline pilot in 1996. After being based in all corners of the United States, it was always my goal to return home to this great state, which I did in 2006.

My wife and I, and three children now live in Colorado Springs, and try to get up to ski as often as possible. Flying for a major airline based in Denver, I travel frequently, and cannot always utilize our condo as much as I would like. Therefore, we decided, starting in the 2013/2014 ski season, to rent our place a week or two most months.

Wonderful property and experience

I highly recommend this property as we had an overall wonderful experience. The owner was very responsive, as was the property managemenet team, from our initial reservation request to our actually getting settled in. The property itself was well kept, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is great as it has easy access to two ski lifts as well as the village. No need to go anywhere! Great place!!!

Perfect Family Get-Away!

My children and I found this location and condo to be the perfect get-away for us. We loved being able to be on the slopes within minutes (ski in/out), being in the heart of the center village with many options for dinner and overlooking the pond where we skated for hours after skiing. The condo is lovely and perfect for a group of 3-8 people. Kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked and everything is top of the line. The lockers for equipment on the main floor by the door to the slopes as well as close to entrance to parking garage was very convenient. Parking was great - always spots available in the underground parking garage. The mountain is easy to get to and right off the highway so if going to Denver, Frisco, Breckenridge or another town, very easy to jump on and off the highway. Owners were amazing - very responsive and helpful! We will definitely visit again!

The Taylor crossing condo was a great location for all the activities we did with our adult kids- skiing, tubing, skating, and dog sledding. The accommodations were very comfortable and we spent many fun nights taking turns making dinners, aging card games and charades and spending great quality time with our kids. It really was our Christmas present to ourselves- time with famy. We would love to do it again next year!

Summer Family Vacation 2015

We had a great time in this condo - smack in the middle of Copper Mountain beauty, family activities on the lake, and stores and restaurants. The condo was clean and comfortable - and stocked well for cooking. The owner provided very detailed instructions and was helpful and available before and during our stay. Copper is situated between many other Summit County resorts and activities, and we hiked in many other places during our extended stay. The two mountain bikes provided by the condo owner was a huge plus and money saver for us as we used them nearly every day. This is a great spot if you want to be in the middle of the excitement of Copper Mountain!

Spring break 2015

This condo was perfectly situated in the heart of the village at Copper Mountain. It had everything you would need for a great vacation in the unit. The owner provided very specific instructions and directions including photographs. He was so easy to work with and responded promptly to any questions or issues. Check-in was easy. Unit was spacious and updated. I highly recommend this unit if you are looking for a great place in Copper Mountain.

This property is a great love of ours. Located in Copper Mountain, it is close to all the ski areas, and in the middle of everything Copper! The building is managed well by the HOA and The Village of Copper, and it has everything we need to enjoy the mountain living, and the skiing life we adore.

We are located in the heart of Center Village in the beautiful resort of Copper Mountain. This resort is great for all seasons of the year. Whether you are a biker, skier, golfer, or hiker, there are activities galore in this area where the outdoorsman can find paradise! We are located 90 minutes West of Denver International Airport, or 50 minutes East of Eagle County Regional Airport. Copper is within 20-45 minutes of numerous other ski towns like Aspen-Snowmass, Vail, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and Keystone. Copper Mountain is just 5 miles from Frisco, and only 8 miles west of Silverthorne. Join the festivities during the 12 Days of Copper every December with fire dancers, parades, fireworks and more. This condo can handle 8 guests if 2 persons utilize the sleeper sofa in the living room. But, due to wear and tear on the unit, there will be an additional $15 per person/night charge for the additional 2 guests over 6.

We have minimum night stay requirements. We MAY approve stays less than the minimum specified for an additional fee of $25 for each night of stay. Please send us an inquiry for your desired length if less than the minimum. ** If you are a returning guest, this fee is waived.

If a night is blocked off on our calendar, please feel free to ask us to open it. We often block off days for our personal use, but would be willing to delay, or cut short, our stay to accommodate a guest.

As an FYI...The $140 Cleaning fee is charged to us by our On-Site Property Manager, SkyRun. We pass this charge on to our guests, and you will see it shown on your quote during the booking process. This includes the fee to clean the unit, supply the linens (4 very high-quality sheet sets and 8 sets of plush towels), all consumables like toiletries and paper towels, and a check-in fee to manage your stay.

We do not add any taxes to the listed nightly rates. We do NOT believe in surprises. Your security deposit is fully refundable within one week of your departure once it has been determined the unit was properly cared for, and all policies (such as No Smoking or Pets, etc) have been followed. This credit will appear on your credit card used at booking.

All returning guests receive a $25 per night discount! Come on back, again and again. Please remind us you have previously stayed during your initial inquiry so I can add the discount prior to booking. If you are anxious to book to avoid the unit being taken from the slot you are requesting, the "Book It Now" process should be used, and a credit can be applied post confirmation.

Close to everything. If you want a doughnut, walk out our front lobby door. Sushi? Right across the heated pathway. Grocery store or liquor store...Just a few minute walk. Want to paddle or bumper boat? Walk to the lake next door. Fire pit, yup, it is right there. Zip line, go-carts, ice skating, a view of the frequent fire works...Right in the middle. Golf? It is there. A climbing wall or mini-golf are both really close. Tubing? Jump on the shuttle for five minutes to East Village. We even have an Easter Egg hunt every Easter, right outside the door! We love our big elevated balcony, and we love the people! Oh, and the skiing. Crazy close, and crazy awesome fun! Just Learning? Try the free Magic Carpet. Then join a ski school and perfect your skills. Like to snowboard? Do not forget to try our half pipe. It is just a great place for a couple to get away, or a wonderful place to make family memories.

  • Crock Pot, blender, mini grill. Fire Extinguisher under sink. 3 fans. 2 humidifiers. Patio furniture on Deck. Recycle bins are located in the underground garage next to trash the receptacle. We highly encourage the use of these bins to help keep Copper Mountain, and the great state of Colorado, beautiful! We have a storage locker on the first floor. So, when you are done with your day on the slopes, just put your gear in the closet, lock it up, and head to your condo. It helps keep the unit clean and organized, and reduces your work load as well. For our cycling guests, you can secure your bikes in the cage in the parking garage. Condo key access is required to enter. Bike locks are suggested.
