About the Owner

We are avid downhill and x-country skiiers who know the mountain very well. We love the convenient location and warmth of this unit with numerous couches and new TV and gas fireplace. We also have a rental property on a lake near St. Johnsbury, VT so we have experience with the needs of renters. We have also rented many places ourselves and this has influenced our choice of amenities. We count on repeat business so try to keep our two rental properties as comfortable as possible for our guests.

We rented this condo during reggae weekend. The location is perfect, the condo itself is beautiful and spacious with a huge deck. The neighbors were great as well. The whole experience was perfect!

Great location, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped condo

My family stayed at Sue and Andy's condo for 4 nights after Christmas, and we loved it. The location is ideal -- within walking distance to everything. It's very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We'll be back! Thank you.

Sunny, Comfortable and Convenient Location

My family stayed here last weekend and had a great visit. The condo is an end unit and gets great sun. The kitchen and living area are on the second floor, bedrooms on the first and third floors. It is really easy to get on and off the mountain. The health club is across the street, if you have young children and want to swim, work out or go for a massage. We all slept very well and our first day was very cold and the condo was comfortable. The owners were very helpful when we had a few questions. We would definitely try to stay here again.

Perfect mountainside condo at Sugarloaf

Over the last decade, our family of five has rented many condos, one home and a number of hotel rooms at Sugarloaf, our favorite place to ski. East mountain, west mountain, the Inn, the Hotel - you name it, we've tried it! The Commons complex is our unanimous favorite. Just south of the Sugarloaf Inn, the location is ski-in/ski-out and walking distance to everything else. The tri-level layout is ideal for families or groups where everyone can find their own space to relax apres ski. The middle level kitchen/dining/living area is a great spot to be together: eat, play games, watch TV, or read. Weather permitting, the deck is an ideal place to sit and take in the sun/sights with a cold beverage. This particular unit is as lovely as the photos: meticulously decorated, spotlessly clean and with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The owners are warm and accommodating, communicating both before and after our visit to be sure all went well. We look forward to returning to Sue and Andy's place next winter!

Great unit

Had a very nice weekend here at the tail end of ski season. Great unit, great location, and great owners: very responsive and easy to work with. Only downside is, the unit's so comfortable, I couldn't get my kids out of bed in the morning!

From the Owner

For the past 5 years we did seasonal rentals all over the mountain before deciding to purchase in the Commons. This is an ideal location next to Snubber mid-station and amenities like the health club and Shipyard Restaurant and brewhouse. We also loved the big, sunny windows looking up at the mountain and the layout with BRs and baths on first and third floors.

Prime location for ski in/ski out but also world class x-country skiing at Sugarloaf Outdoor System and groomed trails of Maine Huts and Trails network. Also, becoming a destination for mountain biking with miles of new trails for every ability. The new bike trail system is awesome - with amazing roads, trails, and adventures for all abilities.

Great for two families. Parents each have their own BR downstairs with adjacent full bath and kids are on third floor with own full bath. We also have some great photography in the unit by John Orcutt of Schoolhouse Gallery in Kingfield.
