Finding a place in the White Mountains that is both on a swimming lake and is minutes to skiing and summer mountain hiking is rare. This is the place. Mirror Lake is a pristine and beautiful swimming lake, off limits to motor boats but ideal for paddling and fishing and swimming. Wake up and take a morning dip or use one of our boats (kayaks, canoes, or pedal boat) from our private dock. The lake is also stocked with fish.

THE PROPERTY:
We have a big, flat yard that is perfect for sports and lawn games. We keep a volleyball net up in the summer and stock our shed with outdoor toys (badminton, croquet, corn hole etc).

Year round, you can use our fire pit or sit on our deck under the stars. We also have a new deep cedar hot tub.

We are near 4 major ski resorts.

GUEST SPACE:
Two floors with 6 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, and kitchen. The swimming beach, boats, driveway, and yard is yours too.

HOST INFO:
We have a unit on the 1st floor of the lodge with separate entrance and drive way. We do live here full time.

I grew up in New Hampshire and my parents have a cabin in neighboring Thornton. My family lives in Boston now. Our 6 and 10 year old boys loving swimming, fishing, splashing and boating around the lake, as well as skiing at nearby Cannon Mountain.

My husband is an Architect and General Contractor and is constantly improving the Lodge always striving to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Why they chose this property

In the summers when we visited my parents, my husband and I used to come to Mirror Lake because it's the best place to swim in the area. The water is so clean and clear and the shore is wooded. We had been looking for a place on a lake for years and when we saw the Lodge was for sale, we knew that this was the place. We met with Annemarie, the previous owner, who was (and is) great. We were lucky to have her teach us how she had successfully run the lodge for the last 15 years. We plan to keep the spirit of Mirror Lake Lodge going as the perfect place for families and friends to make lifelong memories.

What makes this property unique

You practically have your own private cove to swim in.
