Excellent property - well furnished, great location, terrific view of the bay
Our family of 5 spent a week in this flat. It is furnished quite nicely. It was quiet. The view of the bay made the trip for us. We'd sit and watch the ships and activity and beauty of the scenary for hours. The flat is in a "clean & safe" area of the city. It's about a 15 minute downhill walk to Fisherman's Wharf. Several restaurants are within easy walking distance. Uber was never more than 3 or 4 minutes wait. Zipcar locations are half a mile away. The flat is on a hill -- but that is entertaining in it's own way. Owners are super helpful. All the information you need for the flat, nearby restaurants etc. is provided. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Beautiful, comfortable with great views
Our family, including 3 children, stayed here for several nights and it was exactly what we needed. The apartment is really clean and well kept with comfortable beds and cozy linens, not to mention that it's beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are all a nice size and our son slept on the living room sofa bed and seemed to like it. Te kitchen is great if you were going to cook (we didn't) and the washer and dryer were clean and functional. The bathrooms were also super clean and great.
But the most amazing thing about this place is the view. Wow! I don't think the pictures can do it justice. The entire backside of the apartment is a wall of windows that looks down Russian Hill at Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz. You can see Telegraph Hill out the right side of the window and Coit Tower. It's just stunning. So after a long day of walking up and down hills and exploring the city, we had a glass of wine and looked at that amazing view for hours.
The hosts were really professional in all of their interactions. They responded quickly to emails and a phone call and promptly returned my deposit after we left. They also also left several binders with useful maps and information and very clear directions on how to use the television.
We had a supurb time in San Francisco and a large part of the reason was that we had a clean, beautiful place to go "home" to at the day and relax. Thanks, Teri and John!
What a grand home and view!
Our family of five spent a wonderful week in this condo in San Fran. The view was phenomenal to wake up to and retire against. While we did no cooking, (vacation for me) the kitchen was well appointed and the washer dryer quite helpful with kids and clothes. The owners have done a masterful job in design and the local artwork is such a nice touch. You should know that it is a little hilly for the trek home if walking but well worth the exercise. And very well located to restaurants, Dylan's bike rentals and yummy Swensens ice cream. Sweet vacation and lodging all around!
GORGEOUS VIEW, EXCELLENT LOCATION!
We could not have asked for more. This house has a truly gorgeous view and is in an excellent location. In addition, the house was clean, the beds had soft sheets and nice comforters. Kitchen was well stocked with good dishes, glasses, pans, coffee maker, etc. We would definitely try to stay here if in the SF area again and would recommend this to friends as the perfect place to stay.
Russian Hill is close to both Chinatown and the Italian district with all of their activity and restaurants. In the opposite direction you have Fisherman's Wharf which is an easy walk down the hill and from there you can catch a cable car straight downtown. We took the ferry to Sausalito and walked back over the Golden Gate Bridge - long walk but worth it, especially when you have a nice house to return to.
VERY NICE PLACE!
Thank you Teri - we loved the house!
I recently spent a week in San Francisco, part business and part pleasure. I wanted a nice place in the Russian Hill/North Beach area that had great amenities, decor, furnishings and also a view of the bay. This condominium exceeded my expectations! My wife joined me for the second half of the week and I took great pleasure watching her do a walkthrough when she first arrived - I could tell she was more impressed with each step through the condo. We spent a lot of time in the den (mornings and evenings especially) gazing out the windows and also time on the rooftop deck - it made for a very special stay! We were within easy walks of many restaurants, shops and bars and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, but relaxing in this wonderful place was the highlight. The owners had everything in great shape and were quick to assist with any questions or needs that arose during our stay. We'll be back!
This property is everything it says on the website. Great location, easy to walk to warf, Pier 39, and Hop On/Hop Off bus. We used UBER for all other transportation. The apartment was updated and decorated beautifully and everything we needed was there. I want to go back.
