Cozy, Serene Cabin

  • 4 of 5

Pictures of the cabin were very accurate, well maintained although had no hand, dish soap, toiletries, or tissues

Visited in February so would have loved extra blankets and or throws

Fireplace and hot tub were a great feature. Close drive to Gatlinburg, roads were a little difficult and quite steep, winter months for us would definately not be a good time of year for the cabin location

Scenery was beautiful and did sight a bear from the window

Well worth the cost just would not recommend winter months unless you don't mind being cabin bound

Anniversery Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Overall great cabin. Really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Wife was disappointed we didn't see any bears. Driveway was really steep but the location was excellent. Would definitely return again. Cabin is directly located in Chalet Village off light 10 of Parkway. Excellent location for Gatlinburg attractions.

Great weekend!

  • 5 of 5

All of it was fantastic except for the hot tub.

It didn't really want to heat up and was a bit cloudy.

But everything else was fantastic. The hill was a bit rough to drive up, but nothing we didn't expect from other reviews.

Will definitely go again, and tell others to go too.

While the cabin its self was great there was an odor of cat in the residence. I attempted to contact the homeowner but received no response. The location was okay, steep hills and a steep driveway to get there. The cabin would have been great if not for the odor.

Week of relaxation!

  • 5 of 5

Anyone that knows us, we wanted to see bears in their natural environment.....and we did, just an FYI, make sure you lock your doors....they know how to open car doors! We had mama bear coming up the steps and the cubs were in my SUV....we were very LUCKY....they didn't do anything in my vehicle!

This cabin was wonderful and everything was just as described. Needed light bulbs in the ceiling fans, we thought of purchasing them however, I would have no idea how to change them....since they were in the open area...needed ladder. Looking forward to staying here in the future! Gatlinburg is a beautiful town, lots to do and see!

Honeymoon getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were here on our honeymoon. We arrived on a Monday and left saturday. We had an amazing time! You might not get the view like other places but you are secluded! We loved it and will definitely be back. We saw bears every night. On our last night we say mama bear with 4 cubs. The only bad thing I guess you could say is the driveway. It is very steep and I would recommend backing in because there really isn't space to turn around. This place really is the place to go!!
