Beautiful, well-equipped, fabulous location

  • 5 of 5

This property is lovely! We stayed over Mardi Gras with our children and another family and had an absolutely perfect stay. The home is roomy and was very well-stocked -- the play room downstairs was great for the kids and gave them their own space. Anne was even so kind as to have some toys out for the kids to play with. The neighborhood is beautiful -- we walked to Audubon Park and the zoo as they are only a couple of blocks away. We look forward to coming back soon! It was hard to leave. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!

Upscale, casually elegant and full of light with a really warm vibe!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this beautiful house with extended family for our son's graduation from Tulane, and we all couldn't have been more comfortable. Everyone had a wonderfully appointed room and bath. The home is pristine, bright and airy and offers a super large living with dining area and vaulted ceiling--absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the baths are stocked with plenty of fluffy towels, and the beds are super comfortable--plus the neighborhood is quiet, so if you need to turn in early, or sleep in late, it's totally peaceful. We walked to local restaurants, shopping on Magazine Street, the park and Audubon zoo, and while we rented a car for the many events we had in the Central Business District, some of our guests took cabs which came right to the door when called. The owner has thought of everything. Even surprised us with a bottle of champagne and chilled glasses upon arrival! We could not be more grateful and satisfied that our special weekend was completely enhanced by our stay here. We felt like locals! Thank you!!

Great Stay in the Big Easy

  • 5 of 5

Great house for a stay with family or business in New Orleans. The house was well provisioned, spacious and close to everything we needed. This included uptown restaurants , Tulane and Loyola. Wonderful great room with kitchen for our family. The beds were perfect after late nights on the town. We hope to return. So much better than having 3-4 hotel rooms for our family. Thanks !

Tom and Anne

  • 5 of 5

We recently made a return visit to this wonderful home with the same family and friends. We all agreed the first time that this property can not be better for a unique visit to New Orleans. There are just so many wonderful restaurants in this uptown location and easily accessible on foot or by taxi. The French Quarter, CBD and Warehouse District are also not too far away. It's just a different experience than staying in the Quarter. The house is so spacious, light and airy with great bedding and appliances. The owner Anne is absolutely the greatest and makes the whole process so accommodating. Hopefully she has not seen the last of us. Thanks Anne and thank you for the champagne!

awesome house

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed in many VRBO properties and had lots of great experiences. But NOTHING compares to how wonderful this house is! The owner is very detail oriented and provides everything you might need for a New Orleans getaway - no need to buy things like laundry detergent and paper towels and such - it is all provided. The house is spotlessly clean and as well-appointed as my own home. The kitchen appliances are top-notch and the beds are comfortable. And when I say spotlessly clean I mean IMMACULATE - there is not a speck of dust anywhere and that is quite remarkable for any location but especially for New Orleans. The house is close to Audubon Park and one block from Magazine, so it is easy to live like a local while there. We really enjoyed lounging on the porch and cooking with our friends. There was even a bottle of champagne with two glasses AND a bag of Starbucks coffee left in the frig for us by the owner - such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. This house has my very highest recommendation - it is just spectacular, and I cannot wait to go back!

Perfect Home - Great Rental

  • 5 of 5

We rented the home for a gathering of three families. The house was perfect for us and will be for anyone who is looking to do something like this in New Orleans. The Uptown location is in a great part of town and the home is close to Audubon Park and the Zoo. It is also a quick walk to the river to see the ships and there are some excellent restaurants in the vicinity. If you're looking to venture out, the Quarter and City Park are a short drive, as is the St. Charles streetcar line. The house itself is perfect for a small group, with a large basement where the kids can sleep and play. The kitchen and living area is very open and modern. Could not have been happier with the condition of the property or the location of the house. Well done.
