Wonderful Getaway to the Jump Off Inn!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful weekend getaway to a beautifully peaceful destination! (sure could have stayed longer!) Even though it rained we were able to get in a nice woods walk to take in the pond and nature! Then sitting on the porch hearing and watching it rain was relaxing! The cabin is new and equipped with all the latest amenities! Very comfortable! The fact that history took place on these grounds was also very interesting to us! Would highly recommend visiting here! :)

Slice of Heaven....

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have stayed at this wonderful cabin/property twice. The property is secluded and is absolutely gorgeous. We have spent the evenings on the porch watching nature and enjoying the peace and quiet. This property sits on historic ground and is either a bonus for the amateur history buff; or a must visit location for the advanced history enthusiast. I have spent countless hours imagining the men from the Army of Tennessee passing through this location on their way to a historic battle. Men such as General Forest and other famous leaders and men passed through this very land! Even if there is no need to stay in Sewanee; this cabin will serve as a splendid weekend retreat or just a short vacation getaway for those in the Middle Tennessee area. Two words best describe this cabin and property; “Simply Awesome!”
