Available for rent is this contemporary modern 2 bedrooms with 2 sleeping lofts apartment home. The bedrooms are private and seat opposite sides of the home. The lofts are open, each bedroom or loft has a queen bed for a total of four beds and up to eight person being able to sleep comfortably. The place is very popular with young families and young adults alike because of the lofts.
The apartment is the top unit of our private home so it does not share walls with other units. It is also independent with its own private entrance and keyless lock. We assign you a door code usually the last four digits of your phone number so you are able to check in and out easily and independently of us. There are 21 steps to reach the unit so keep this in mind if you are reserving the place for a group that includes elderly people with mobility difficulty. If that is the case you may consider reserving a smaller rental that we have in the first floor of the same building property 504406. Both the top unit and downstairs one come with one private parking space.
We are conveniently located in the heart of Ballard, near the corner of 24th Ave NW and NW 64th St. with easy access to public transportation, bus #40 and #18 stop at the northeast corner of our block. At the time of this writing there is a new grocery store about to open any time in a new building across the street on 24th Ave NW and NW 65th ST. so going grocery shopping will be a breeze.
Ballard is a safe, fun, nice neighborhood just 5 miles north of downtown Seattle with good public transportation and access to Freeway. The neighborhood is famous for its nice restaurant, pubs, bar, cafes, bakeries and outdoors activities.
The rental comes with the standard amenities that you would normally find in a hotel like: clean linens and towels, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, coffee maker, toaster, toilet paper.
In the kitchen there is a gas stove with oven, full fridge, dishwasher, cooking utensils, pots and pans and dinnerware set for 8. We have a Keurig coffee maker a French press and Italian coffee maker. There is an electric teakettle and toaster as well.
The table is expandable to eight allowing your entire family to come together for dinner. Extra folding chairs are stored away in the closet near the entrance.

About the Owner
Originally from Havana, Cuba and a resident of Seattle for over 20 years. I met my wife Monica from Cali, Colombia a few years back while going salsa dancing to Century Ballroom in Seattle. She is a Chemical Engineer and I am a trained Mechanical Engineer. Currently I own a small local business.
Very modern, spacious for 7 of us. Very convenient location. There is a small organic grocer across the street but QFC is just a few more blocks down 24th. Lots of little cafes as well. Close proximity to UW, downtown.
Clean and quiet in a great location
We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units at this location and it worked very well for my wife and I and our adult children. The house is well located with easy walking distance to downtown Ballard and the Locks. Lot's of restaurants and coffee shops close by. House was immaculate and very quiet location. While we didn't have our bikes on this trip, it is very close to a good network of bike trails. Great stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this rental. Damage deposit was returned very promptly the same day we checked out. Thanks Mario!
Clean, comfortable condo!
Mario's condo is perfect- we arrived to a super clean and well-designed space with enough room for our toddler to run around. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms were stocked with really nice fans (I'm a sucker for a cool sleeping environment and white noise!).
This condo has everything you need, from an iron and board to wine glasses and cooking utensils. Great location and walking distance to awesome shops and we loved the keypad entrance!

Cozy, tasteful, convenient condo
This lovely, cleverly designed condo is within walking distance of the heart of Ballard. It can sleep 8 comfortably. Interior design is tasteful.
Great rental in Ballard
We very much enjoyed this very efficiently arranged property in Ballard. The house was just right for four of us, including two children. The house was easy to access, has parking, stocked with the basics plus some extras. It was very clean and well-kept. We would recommend it to anyone and may book again for the next family trip in Seattle.

“Monica and I live a couple miles north of Ballard but came down regularly to eat our favorite restaurant La Carta de Oxaca and also Matador in Ballard Ave. We have also brought many friends and families over the years to visit the neighborhood for its many attractions. In one of those trips we saw this property for sale and discovered that the home came with this rental attached but the place needed lots of work. Having tried my hand at remodeling my previous home and renting a mother in law unit that I built on it; we figure that we could afford living in this more expensive neighborhood repeating the same.
