Available for rent is this contemporary modern 2 bedrooms with 2 sleeping lofts apartment home. The bedrooms are private and seat opposite sides of the home. The lofts are open, each bedroom or loft has a queen bed for a total of four beds and up to eight person being able to sleep comfortably. The place is very popular with young families and young adults alike because of the lofts.

The apartment is the top unit of our private home so it does not share walls with other units. It is also independent with its own private entrance and keyless lock. We assign you a door code usually the last four digits of your phone number so you are able to check in and out easily and independently of us. There are 21 steps to reach the unit so keep this in mind if you are reserving the place for a group that includes elderly people with mobility difficulty. If that is the case you may consider reserving a smaller rental that we have in the first floor of the same building property 504406. Both the top unit and downstairs one come with one private parking space.

We are conveniently located in the heart of Ballard, near the corner of 24th Ave NW and NW 64th St. with easy access to public transportation, bus #40 and #18 stop at the northeast corner of our block. At the time of this writing there is a new grocery store about to open any time in a new building across the street on 24th Ave NW and NW 65th ST. so going grocery shopping will be a breeze.

Ballard is a safe, fun, nice neighborhood just 5 miles north of downtown Seattle with good public transportation and access to Freeway. The neighborhood is famous for its nice restaurant, pubs, bar, cafes, bakeries and outdoors activities.

The rental comes with the standard amenities that you would normally find in a hotel like: clean linens and towels, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, coffee maker, toaster, toilet paper.

In the kitchen there is a gas stove with oven, full fridge, dishwasher, cooking utensils, pots and pans and dinnerware set for 8. We have a Keurig coffee maker a French press and Italian coffee maker. There is an electric teakettle and toaster as well.

The table is expandable to eight allowing your entire family to come together for dinner. Extra folding chairs are stored away in the closet near the entrance.

Other amenities include:

-40" flat HDTV in the living room with HD antenna channel and Netflix access.

- Independent entrance with a keyless electronic door lock.

- Well-lit entrance with sensor lights for late arrivals.

- Rental comes with its own parking space. Parking on the street is free.

Nice apartment

We stayed there with another family, for a total of 4 adults and 3 kids. It met our needs. It was clean, well stocked, nicely decorated and relatively spacious for such a small place.

I asked for additional toilet paper (remember: 7 people) and was told no more toilet paper would be supplied to us. I thought that was a little stingy. The only other disappointment was that several of us typically sleep with 2 pillows and there were only enough pillows in the place for 1 per person. More pillows and spare blankets would have been nice. The neighborhood is nice, the outdoor stairwell is kept well (clean), the lights on the stairwell were on a motion sensor but still a little tempermental, the bikes were nice enough for a good ride. The recycling was a little challenging for those of us not used to Seattle's recycling mandates. (A bin marked "paper and plastic recycling", one labeled "food waste", and one labeled "garbage" would have been helpful.) My kids loved the lofts.

The neighborhood is very nice. We went to the farmers market on Sunday morning and loved it!

Owner's Response: Note: It may be helpful to understand that you are short-term leasing a furnished home and not staying at hotel. You should plan to get your own groceries and extra toilet paper if you consider that your family will be needing more paper than we what we left at the unit. Still leaving 3 to 4 rolls of toilet paper for our guests for a 4 day stay will hardly qualify us as stingy.

Clean, atteactively renovated, convenient to all area atractions

Who stated 3 places on the trip and this property was the most convenient to all the attractions that were on our must-do list in the Seattle area. Mario is very friendly and welcoming. We can tell Pat he spent a lot of time thinking of every detail so that our stay would not only be comfortable but also suggested some good local places to check out that weren't on our radar. Although it doesn't look spacious from the outside, once you go in the door you realize that that is an illusion. All 6 of us were more than comfortable and had our own space. The kid's loved the private lofts.

Very Happy!

The location was great. Close to all that Ballard and the Seattle area offers. The space was designed well with plenty of sleeping capacity and sufficient shared area. The kitchen was well equipped with all you need to cook homemade meals. I would recommend this to family and friends and will stay there again when I return to the area.

Loved it!

Very modern, spacious for 7 of us. Very convenient location. There is a small organic grocer across the street but QFC is just a few more blocks down 24th. Lots of little cafes as well. Close proximity to UW, downtown.

Clean and quiet in a great location

We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units at this location and it worked very well for my wife and I and our adult children. The house is well located with easy walking distance to downtown Ballard and the Locks. Lot's of restaurants and coffee shops close by. House was immaculate and very quiet location. While we didn't have our bikes on this trip, it is very close to a good network of bike trails. Great stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this rental. Damage deposit was returned very promptly the same day we checked out. Thanks Mario!

Clean, comfortable condo!

Mario's condo is perfect- we arrived to a super clean and well-designed space with enough room for our toddler to run around. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms were stocked with really nice fans (I'm a sucker for a cool sleeping environment and white noise!).

This condo has everything you need, from an iron and board to wine glasses and cooking utensils. Great location and walking distance to awesome shops and we loved the keypad entrance!

Thanks so much and would recommend to anyone!

Monica and I live a couple miles north of Ballard but came down regularly to eat our favorite restaurant La Carta de Oxaca and also Matador in Ballard Ave. We have also brought many friends and families over the years to visit the neighborhood for its many attractions. In one of those trips we saw this property for sale and discovered that the home came with this rental attached but the place needed lots of work. Having tried my hand at remodeling my previous home and renting a mother in law unit that I built on it; we figure that we could afford living in this more expensive neighborhood repeating the same. Thanks to your patronage and hard work is that we are able to own and share our home with you and have enjoyed very much doing so fo the last 3 years.
