About the property

3BR/2BA Flat 2 blocks away from the SF iconic Victorian 'Seven Sisters' houses

Your home away from home! NoPa is a neighborhood where you can immerse yourself in the rich history of San Francisco. You will be surrounded by San Francisco's famous Victorian houses. So much that even San Francisco tour buses have regular stops in the area. The neighborhood features a unique balance of family life and hip dining scene.

This 3 bedroom / 2 bath unit is located in a three unit Victorian house on the 2nd floor.

This unit has everything you need to feel at home, including:

- 56 inch HD TV

- Expanded cable channels

- High speed Internet via Wifi

- In-unit washer and dryer

- Backyard deck and extra large garden (Note this is not private. It is shared by three units)

- High end mattresses and bedding for a comfortable sleep

- Fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher

- Sofa pull out bed

- 2 full bathrooms

The neighborhood is highly sought after even by local San Franciscans. It is charming and has all living essential stores within walking distance, including: Bi-Rite Supermarket (featured in Martha Stewart Magazine for their amazing ice cream flavors), Madrone Art Bar, ATM, bank, dry cleaners/laundromat, copy store, hardware store, restaurants, bars, etc.

Tourist attractions include: the Painted Ladies, Alamo Square Park, Golden Gate Park, etc. It is centrally located to San Francisco tourist attractions and one block away from 4 major bus lines and 5 blocks away from 8 bus lines. You will find Zipcar stations within 3 blocks. You do not need a car.

Moscone Center is 2.9 miles away. Bus lines 5, 6, and 21 will take you directly there with no bus transfers. It is 30 minutes door to door on bus.

Parking is not available with this property. However, there is decent amount of street parking. Car is not recommended as parking is expensive in the city and public transportation is really good. The city is small and packed and so taxi fare to most tourist attractions are within $20/ride. If you do need a car, there is a zipcar lot 2 blocks away. You can rent car by the hour or by the day.

Please email or call me if you wish to book.

A+++++++ Must stay here if you are visiting San Fransisco

  • 5 of 5

With little time to book a place to accommodate total of 8 people. I was very pleased with the outcome of my choice.

Mrs. Sylvia was very easy to communicate with and punctual with her response with questions or concerns I had before booking the rental up until the end of the trip.

The house was as described and I could not have been any happier. Location was in the middle of all the main attractions my family, friends, and myself wanted to explore.

Don't look any further! Book with Mrs. Sylvia!

I look forward to visiting San Fransisco and booking with your rental homes.

Nice and consistent with it's description.

Nothing remarkable, but clean, highly functional and all the basics available. No hassle check in and out with easy key code. Walking distance to several eclectic coffee shops. $10-15 Uber to most of the city, $30 to SFO.

Jill's wedding!!!

Great apartment! The master bedroom and master bath were gorgeous as was the view out the kitchen/living room area. It was very clean, comfortable beds and the only issue was getting inside the front door(one of the door locks opened to the right, the other to the left) which was resolved with a quick phone call. My only complaint was the third bedroom did not have a window and we picked a very warm weekend in San Francisco. Overall a great experience!

Awesome family friendly accomodations!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was centrally located near many family friendly SF attractions. We experienced minimal parking

issues. The condo was very clean with very comfortable beds. There was some street noise with the front rooms but very quiet in the back rooms. Kitchen was well stocked. Two good size hallway bathrooms made it convenient for our large Hawaii group. Owners were attentive to our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this unit especially for large groups.

Enjoyed our stay

  • 4 of 5

We came to San Francisco for a family vacation. We found the house easily. It' was in a fairly nice area, close to Haight Ashbury, much to my 16 year old daughters delight. Very close the the "Painted Ladies" much to my delight. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean with nice fluffy towels. Take heed of Sylvia's advice about having a car. We rented one because of all the traveling we did in and around San Fran and to drive to Los Angeles. Luckily my son who lives in Brooklyn and works in Manhattan is use to finding difficult parking. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting the Area for business or pleasure.. Thank you again, Sylvia for your hospitality.

Canadian Girl Guides visit San Francisco

  • 4 of 5

Myself, my co-leader and 6 teenagers stayed at the 2nd floor apartment for 5 days this August, 2015.

We absolutely LOVED the apartment, the location worked for us, and Sylvia was great to work with.

Two of the bedrooms were quite large; no one had to sleep on the couch or on the floor... it really does sleep 8 comfortably.

My only 'complaint' was the supplies, especially in the kitchen. They are very minimal and it was difficult to feed eight 'at home'. It would probably be find for a smaller group. Lots of pots and pans, but minimal dishes and one 8x8 baking pan, one loaf pan and one cookie sheet are all the oven supplies. Don't expect to be able to cook a roast and potatoes or even a lasagna for eight. Accessories like flippers and serving spoons were not decent quality and would bend upon use. No dish cloths, and not enough towels for 8, but some of us brought our own so we were actually okay there.

Other than that, we LOVED IT and would definitely book with Sylvia again.

Next time, I'd probably take the downstairs suite so that we'd have easy access to the patio though.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write the review and for loving my apartment. It is rewarding to hear that people have enjoyed time at my residence. Regarding the kitchen, most guests to San Francisco do only light cooking and so I've found that stocking with extensive supplies became a little superfluous. However, for guests with extra/particular needs, if possible, I would always try to meet those needs. Next time if you stay with us again, let me know if you will be doing a lot of cooking and I will be sure to stock the kitchen with more supplies. Thank you again.
