Large private parking with direct access to the beach, green garden with flowers next to a large heated indoor swimming pool (from April to November). The large shaded terrace has a grill and tables, so you can have your meals outdoors.
The living room has a fireplace, a library, video player and the cosy kitchen where you can have your meals with 20 persons.
a comfortable staircase that lead to the 8 bedrooms , located in both storeys and each with the name of a flower. Our bedrooms are all equipped with bathrooms or shower rooms.

9 person family get together

Lovely property with lots of space. There is a great outdoor dining area that we used everyday. There is also lots of activities in the garden like a pool/hot tub, table tennis, and a trampoline. Laura was always available to help out if we had any problems and gave us lots of insight on the area. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect house for large family gathering

Eleven family and friends gathered to celebrate my sister's 80th birthday. We cooked wonderful dinners at the well-equipped maison, ate a fabulous meal at Cabinouix et Chataigne in Domme, and had an over-the-top Indian feast cooked by Chef Imtiaz Hasan. Memories are made of this! Merci, Madame!

Fantastic option for large family gathering

We had a wonderful week at this French farmhouse for a family reunion including 4 families with children and grandparents (total 10 adults and 8 children aged 6 - 12). Enough bedrooms for each couple, 2 tower rooms for kids with multiple beds (plus air conditioning for them as they were higher), and adequate bathrooms. Each room had a sink and shower, 2 with en suite toilets and then shared toilets convenient for each bedroom. The kitchen is large and had everything we needed to cook in for most nights, and the large tables inside and out meant that we could all sit together. The pool was outstanding; kids loved it and it was warm, so it was used daily. The owner was available and very helpful, provided pool towels and extra bedding and gave advice on local options. The environment is lovely; steps from the Dordogne river where you can rent canoes or stand up paddles, a 10 minute walk to a fantastic patisserie, pharmacy, or grocery store, and short drives (or 30 minute walk uphill) to gorgeous Domme. Beautiful towns nearby like Sarlat, and Castelnaud. We also spent a day at ropes course / zip line facility nearby (Monkey forest) which was fun. Really loved our trip and would highly recommend. Definitely need a car; could drive from Bordeaux, Limoges, or Carcassone in under 3 hours.

Fabulous Authentic Comfortable Home

We took our three sons, their wives and our 8 grandchildren to Dordogne for a week. The house fit everyone easily and was very functional. The swimming pool and outside eating area were particularly nice. Within reasonable proximity to prehistoric caves, village markets, and right on the river. No A/C but it did cool down after dark. One of our best family vacations. Thanks to Marie Odile and Laura for being attentive and welcoming

Dordogne Valley Chateau

I cannot say enough great things about this house. We loved it, loved it, loved it! Our chateau in the Dordogne Valley. It was a perfect, magical house. The owner, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was kind, generous, and interested in making sure everything went well for us. She also speaks English fluently. You can tell she takes pride in this wonderful house and she wants her guests to enjoy it to the fullest. We have rented houses and apartments around the world and we have never been as warmly welcomed as we were by the owner. We were an extended family group of 12 people visiting from the United States. We could have easily had 8 more people in the house without any problem. Every bedroom in the house has its own shower (or shower/tub combo) and a sink. 4 of the bedrooms also have their own toilets. There are two more toilets in the main hall on the floor with the main bedrooms. There is also a toilet on the ground floor. None of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. Each end of the house has a large tower bedroom that is above the floor with the main bedrooms. The covered/heated pool is magnificent. Our kids used it almost every day. It is very clean and well cared for. The fact the pool is covered was especially helpful as several days we had rain – but since the pool was covered we could still swim! We feel the pictures make it appear smaller than it is. All the rooms are larger than they look. The kitchen is large. The living area is large and comfortable. We had plenty of space for everyone with lots of space to share. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped. The wifi is good. The beds are wonderful and comfortable. The setting of the house is truly beautiful. It is on a very large property. The flowers are magnificent. The Dordogne River travels right along the edge of the property. We walked into the little town every morning for our fresh baguettes, croissants, and other splendid French pastries. We used this house as a base to explore the wonders of the Dordogne Valley. Every town is picturesque. Every castle is amazing. Tons of history. Prehistoric Cave Art all around! Cliff dwellings! The medieval town of Sarlat is 20 minutes away with its big market with foie gras, walnuts, and truffles and endless other specialties! Domme itself is a magnificent bastide town with the best view of the Dordogne Valley. The food all over the region is amazing. We would not hesitate to return again to this same house.
