Luxury Cabin, 4 Master Bdrms, Theater Seats, Hot Tub, Game Rm, Loft, Sleeps 12+

Gatlinburg Mountain Escape is a gorgeous, three level cabin with four master bedrooms and a spectacular view that sleeps twelve (or more, if small children). You can really appreciate the 'take-your-breath-away' views all year round from anywhere on the 800 square feet of deck. At night, you even have a quiet view of the city lights of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville with the cabin lights sparkling throughout the valley below.

Your next cabin vacation to Gatlinburg's Mountain Escape provides every modern convenience without affecting the quiet solitude of the mountains. The high speed wireless router allows for plenty of bandwidth for everyone to be using the internet at the same time.

The main floor has a living area, kitchen, and dining area that is a large, open space with enough room for the whole family to enjoy each other's company.

The living room offers a graceful sofa, two large chairs; french doors to the main level deck with a gas grill off the dining area. The 37” flat screen TV above the gas fireplace is connected to a Samsung BluRay player has apps built in for viewing Netflix, HuluPlus, or other popular streaming services. In addition there is a five disc DVD/CD/MP3 surround sound system.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped, has a well-designed dining table that seats eight, and the kitchen breakfast bar offers four pub style saddle stools. Sit in the rocking chairs on the deck while you drink your morning coffee and listen to the sounds of nature float up from the valley. Enjoy the magnificent view as the sun rises behind you and begins to shine on Bluff Mountain as late morning begins to settle in.

Every bedroom is a master and is basically identical to the others with a king bed, 32” LED TV, the same Samsung BluRay with apps found throughout the cabin, electric fireplace, and private bathroom.

Each bedroom has a door to the deck with private seating to enjoy the solitude of the cabin and relaxing environment that surrounds it.

The main floor master bathroom has a jetted tub for 2, pedestal sinks, and shower.

The upper level decks are private and accessed from each bedroom. They offer the most impressive views in the cabin.

Between the bedrooms is the loft with a spacious sitting area, a stylish and comfortable sofa, pub table for cards, and windows out the front and back of the cabin.

In addition, there is a small business center area equipped with a desk, high speed internet connection, printer, fax, scanner, and copier for your use while on the road. So, we have removed any reason for you to rush back to the office. Why not extend your stay for the entire week, even if you have a little work to do (just don't forget to take time for yourself).

The lower level features are full of fun and games. There is a 7 1/2 foot bar sized pool table, arcade machine, wet bar, microwave, and mini fridge to stock for convenience. Beginning in May, there will be theater seats at the back of the theater room, so everyone in your party can watch movies or view pictures together on the 70 inch LED High Definition TV screen.

The home theater area with its gigantic 70” LED TV with apps has a Samsung BluRay with apps, and five disc DVD/CD/iPod/MP3 surround sound system attached.

The bathroom on the lower lever has a full tub and shower with a double sink and counter with plenty of room to spread out.

The lower level deck is spacious and still higher than the closest neighbors roof. It holds a six person hot tub for all to enjoy with outside speakers to listen to music or listen to the movie being watched inside the theater room.

A stacked washer and dryer is located in a large closet behind the wet bar with an iron and board if your in the area for a more formal affair.

Regardless of why you came to the Smoky Mountain area, we want you to enjoy the cabin so much, you'll have trouble leaving in the morning and will be rushing to get back at night.

The view is spectacular!

  • 5 of 5

Our vacation was wonderful! The cabin was great. Our group numbered 11 with 6 adults and 5 kids.( 5-10 yrs old) My 7 yr old grandson describing it to his other grandfather said.."It was a mansion!" I do have to admit the drive up to the cabin was a bit scary-winding roads with steep inclines. However, after one more trip down and back, we all acclimated. The cabin and the view from all of the decks made it so worthwhile. Everyone looked forward to the sunsets and the fireworks every night. The kids really enjoyed the game room and theater seats too! We also enjoyed the Smoky Mountains with hikes and picnic lunches. We took in a couple shows and went to Dollywood too! ❤️

Great getaway!!

  • 4 of 5

Overall, totally relaxing and enjoyable. Very comfortable and family friendly. AWESOME back deck with beautiful view.

The drive up to cabin was a bit nerve racking at first, the showers are tiny and floors were vacuumed but not wet mopped - our socks were all dirty. Also, there is not enough garbage space. That would be the only negatives for us.

Owners were very nice to work with and we would love to come back again!

Fantastic get a way cabin for the family.

  • 5 of 5

Wow. The view is amazing. Worth the drive up the steep roads. Be careful when following your GPS some will take you the wrong way. Mark was excellent to work with. We had a problem with the temp on the hot tub but he called me back with directions and was fixed right away. Would recommend this cabin for a family vacation. We took our adult children and their guest, 7 total, very comfortable for us all. The cabin was clean and has all you need for your stay. Will stay there again if we have the opportunity to do so.

Wonderful week in the Smoky Mountains

  • 5 of 5

We just returned home from our stay at this lovely, comfortable cabin. We were 2 families traveling together: 4 adults, 5 children ages 7-15. From the time of booking, the owners were very responsive to our questions and e-mails. Be sure to follow Mark's directions to the house very closely - we missed a turn and our Google map app got very confused. Also be aware of the steep hills coming into the cabin - we used 1st gear to climb up. Upon arrival, the house looked exactly like the pictures - although pictures cannot capture the magnificence of the view. Floor to ceiling windows out over the mountains and a deck to relax and enjoy the view. Just breathtaking. All of the bedrooms were virtually identical and very comfortable with clean linens and plenty of towels. The game room was a hit with the kids - we had several pool and foosball tournaments - and watched movies. The hot tub was great as well. A few minor suggestions for the owners: 1) Having an "instruction" booklet for the TVs and other gadgets in the house would be helpful - - and maybe even some personal suggestions of places to go or restaurants to eat in, etc, 2) a stash of separate towels for the hot tub, and 3) a few more medium size saucepans/pots would be a plus. Otherwise, we really loved our stay and would definitely recommend this house to others. Thanks so much!

Beautiful, but beware!

  • 4 of 5

My family and I came together for a long weekend at this cabin. The owners are fabulous to work with, very attentive and super friendly! The house is incredibly beautiful and the view is breath-taking! The hot tub, multiple fireplaces, and game room were so nice! One of the televisions in the bedroom wasn't functioning correctly so it didn't have cable access, but there were so many other televisions, it wasn't that big of a deal. Beware that the trip up the mountain to the cabin is not easy though. I would not recommend a winter or early spring trip unless you have very reliable 4 wheel drive. We went in mid-February to take advantage of nearby skiing. The morning before we arrived there was a light snowfall. Since the final ascent to the cabin is extremely steep, some members of our group couldn't get their cars up the hill. It made for a frustrating start to our trip. Be mindful that the only stairway is a wooden spiral staircase. It adds a great design element to the house and we all loved it, but if you have young children or older adults on the trip, they might have a hard time. We also had to leave one night early because of an impending snowstorm. The owners were nice enough to offer us a discount on a future trip to make up for the lost time. We will definitely return!

Owner's Response: Thank you for the kind words about us as owners. It means a lot and we loved having a group like yours stay with us. Our goal is that our guests enjoy the cabin so much that when the weather does not cooperate, they still truly enjoy their stay just as much. Most of our guests only have front wheel drive vehicles and manage just fine. It's true that snow in Tennessee can create issues, especially when the national news leads with weather reports about it. When we tell our guests, "You have to go up to get that view!", what we've been told by them is "When we saw it, we never wanted to leave." Can't wait to have you back!

Fantastic retreat

  • 5 of 5

Very clean & well kept home. It's comfortable and welcoming, and all the kids had a blast. The four king beds made it comfortable for everyone, and the basement had the kids enthralled all weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

Location

From the Owner

When Mark discovered Gatlinburg on a business trip, he told Chris about the area and how much there was to do. So, they drove down to find the perfect lot to build their vacation home. Knowing they couldn't do this without their better halves, they had their wives join them for the second half of their stay to take in the sites. They were particular in the lot they were looking to purchase. They wanted a spectacular view, but didn't want to be part of a cleared mountain top with cabins on top of other cabins. It needed to have some privacy, but still be convenient to the attractions in the area. Too far away from the Smoky Mountains meant you'd have to drive forever just to get anywhere worth going. Too close in town meant you'd be listening to traffic and city noise instead of to the nature you came there to appreciate. So, they finally found a site to build that met all of their needs. It has one of the best views in the area (the pictures don't really capture how impressive it is) and is on a dead end road with only 2 other cabins. However, other cabins are sprinkled in the trees below giving our guests the majestic feeling of royalty overlooking their kingdom. Mark and Chris designed the cabin to provide as big of a cabin as the lot could hold and to maximize the views and the spaces inside. The bedrooms are spacious enough for you to spread out for your extended stay. We want our guests to make this their vacation cabin for their stay. The kitchen and main level living area were designed to enjoy the view, provide a great place to entertain, yet cozy enough to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the environment. The all wood spiral staircase was used to maximize the other spaces of the cabin and add warmth to the decor. The game room and theater room are adjacent and open to allow everyone to enjoy each other and the entire space they share. The upper loft is a great place to be away and still present all at the same time. Enjoy.

Amenities

From the Owner

There are very few vacation properties that provide million dollar views, solitude, modern conveniences, and easy access to all area attractions. The drive up to the cabin just long enough to give you the feeling you are really in the mountains (not just in a cabin), but short enough you are back in town in less than 10 minutes. It's very convenient whether you want to go into the Smoky Mountain National Park or spend the day at Dollywood or even at the outlet stores in Pigeon Forge. You're never far from the cabin, so you can maximize your vacation time doing the things you came to the area to enjoy. While the pictures don't show it yet, actual theater chairs with built in cup holders are going to be installed by the end of April. They will be elevated to provide a great view of the 70' LED screen no matter where you sit.
