Guestbook comments from the owner

Could not have asked for a better cabin. This is the first cabin we've stayed in that was truly well kept. Clean, comfortable and enough room for us to park, turn around in the driveway and easy to find. Very convenient location. Wonderful little church on the road up to the cabin. Will definitely be back soon.

Nice place, great view, fireworks, well maintained inside. A little warm inside the first day when we arrived but it cooled down throughout our stay when the air had been on for awhile. I would return again!

Great Cabin with great views!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is very spacious and well stocked. The beds are comfy. The cabin is well decorated but not cluttered. It has amazing views. We saw some turkeys in the front yard, and the kids enjoyed watching them for over an hour. It is conveniently located between gatlinburg and pigeon forge. From the front porch you are overlooking Pigeon Forge and we enjoyed watching fireworks that were at Dollywood and Patriot park on the 4th. The owner (Mel) responded to all my emails prior to arrival very promptly and answered all my questions thoroughly. We will absolutely be back.

We are a family of 5 and stayed here for 5 nights. We were more than pleased with the location, size and cleanliness of this cabin. All towels and sheets were nice a clean with fresh smell. The soaps in the bathrooms were nice. The kitchen had everything needed. And being right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge made for a great vacation. All went perfect without any problems.

Very nice

Had a wonderful stay! The cabin is top notch, well appointed and beautifully decorated down to every detail. Amazing view and tucked away for peace and quiet. Also loved the location, centrally located between downtown Gatlinburg and downtown Pigeon Forge.

Great cabin, view and Owners!

  • 5 of 5

Having visited Gatlinburg several times in the past, this cabin and the view far exceed any others we have stayed in. The drive up the mountain is not bad at all. Just watch the signs for the "Coach House" as the Owners have it marked at the turns. A few sharp twists and turns but the trip up is very scenic. The cabin itself is a picture of craftsmanship with the cathedral ceiling, beams, and wall of windows overlooking Pigeon Forge. We found the home to be well maintained and clean. It is relatively secluded with only a couple cabins across the road that are off to one side and at a lower elevation. We really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch, the hot tub on the deck, the gas fireplace, and the pool table. The leather living room furniture was also very comfortable. The king size bed in the master was very comfortable and the Owners have an additional fan in the bedroom which was great. I was very impressed with Mel and his attention to details and customer service. FYI-when you are going down the mountain, use low gear to avoid a trip to the brake shop. I am in the real estate business and I have no reservations recommending this cabin or the Owners for your next stay! We can hardly wait to return!

Awesome cabin!

  • 4 of 5

When we arrived at the Coach House, there was a misunderstanding and housekeeping never came after the guests before us. We contacted Mel and he had someone come out immediately to clean. The rest of our stay was wonderful, to wake up to the view there was amazing!!! It is very quiet and we got to see some wildlife. The cabin is 5-10 minutes to amenities, we stayed in a lot and just enjoyed the cabin!

From the Owner

Secluded, great views, near water (fishing) quality built home. We looked at hundreds and toured over 30 homes before purchasing The Coach House. There are plenty of homes high up with views, but you won't find many with the privacy, parking, quality and atmosphere that the Coach House offers. It is truly a one of a kind place.
