Kitchen well stocked and there were eating and travel recommendations which were helpful. A map of the immediate area was also very helpful.
Quiet Beautiful Apartment in Great Location
Booked this space a year in advance and followed up with additional reading of reviews before heading to Paris. A few reviews commented about size of the apartment. Well the place is as exactly as described AND it is what you would imagine an apartment in Paris to be -romantic and cozy. It was also surprisingly quiet. We noted this several times and had no problems falling asleep while keeping the windows open. The apartment has all the amenities you could think of and being a large American woman, my family and I had absolutely no problems with space. Perfect size and most importantly everything works! Apartment is within walking distance to Notre Dame and metro. Also the owner left helpful amenities instructions and restaurant recommendations which were excellent. So if you are seeking a Parisian experience, this is the place to go. One final note, the owner is very quick to respond to any concerns or questions. This was important to me and left me feeling as if we were in good hands. Truly an amazing experience. We will be back again. Thank you!
2 Weeks in On the Left Bank!
The location was perfect, close to everything but quiet for sleeping. There is darling little balcony that has a view of the Eiffel Tower and the Church of Etienne du Mont, and, the Pantheon. The apartment was fully furnished for our two week stay. The owners, Jean and Nanie Rouiller ,were so warm, welcoming, and helpful in getting us settled in. Instructions for the washer/dryer, and other appliances were well documented. As a welcome gift they gave us a bottle of champagne. There were also eggs, yoghurt, juice, and fresh baguette for our first morning breakfast. From the apartment, where we spent two weeks for our 23rd wedding anniversary, we walked everywhere! I hope we can return to this wonderful apartment before too many years go by. Merci, Jean and Nanie!
Perfect flat in a perfect location
This is an ideal place for two, with all the amenities anyone could possibly need. The location is excellent for accessing all of the major sights of Paris, whether on foot or by Metro. We are inveterate walkers, and could easily reach all of the major sights on foot, as well as some of the minor ones. We visited the Musee d’Orsay, strolled through the Luxembourg Gardens (one of my favorite places in Paris), paid homage to Notre Dame, ate lots of bread and cheese, and had a wonderful time. We mostly ate in the apartment, the kitchen is well equipped, but did enjoy good pizza and pasta at Pizza Roma Ecoles. The food is reasonably priced for Paris. The Bistrot la Grange, at 17 Rue la Grange, was disappointing. Watery onion soup should never be served in Paris! There are much better choices in the area. Just wander and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.
Perfect Paris experience!
We enjoyed everything about this quintessential Paris flat. The location, the balcony, the warm welcome from Mrs. Fernandes definitely made this feel like our home away from home. This was our second time in Paris so we were somewhat familiar with this area (Left Bank). It was very easy to get wherever we wanted to go with the Metro (buy a carnet of 10 tickets to save money).
We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Paris.
A wonderful apartment in every respect. Location, charm, comfort, attributes, local representative.
It's all in the title.
