Cénac-et-Saint-Julien is a commune of the Périgord noir located at the edge of the Dordogne, at the foot of the bastide of Domme, eleven kilometers from the town of Sarlat-la-Canéda and eighteen kilometers from the town of Gourdon.

It is close to tourist places such as Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, the Château des Milandes and the gardens of Marqueyssac.

Ideal location

We spent 2 pleasant weeks in this comfortable, well-maintained cottage with lovely deck and pool. Christine and Olivier were very kind. We were close to many of the interesting villages of the Dordogne. We enjoyed the countryside and the cattle grazing beyond the pool. The only negative was that the internet was a little weak at times.

gite très agréable et propre

séjour début mai 2011 accueil par propriétaire très sympathique gite très propre et très bien conçu, proche des sites touristiques Sarlat, Bastide de Domme, Les Eyzies... convient sans problème à des personnes qui apprécient le calme et la tranquillité de la campagne, tout en étant proche des commerces 2-3 km. Nous le recommandons aussi à celles accompagnées d'enfant qui peuvent jouer au grand air, aucun passage de véhicules, ni de personnes. Excellent séjour. Nous y reviendrons.

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, dans une maison très confortable, propre et fonctionnelle. L'espace extérieur est sensationnel pour les amateurs de nature et de tranquillité. La maison est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce et même encore plus spacieuse que ne le laissent paraître les photos. Nous avons été charmés par la région. La commune est bien située car nous avons pu découvrir plein de sites sans faire de longs trajets. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr !

Excellente adresse

Accueil très sympathique. Situation idéale pour visiter la vallée de la Dordogne. Gîte au calme et bien équipé. Très propre. Il était trop dans la saison pour tester la piscine mais nous avons apprécié la grande terrasse avec vue sur la campagne. Vraiment impeccable.
