About Jerry and Karin
Jerry and I, Karin, met and married in Yakima. We spent 5 years in Wenatchee and currently reside in Spokane, WA. We love camping, boating and being in the outdoors! I am a Realtor and Jerry drives truck and farms. It's been a dream of ours to own our own lake place and enjoy sharing the experience with others. We love our little cabin in the woods and hope you find it as fun and relaxing as we do!
Jerry and Karin purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Jerry and Karin chose Fruitland
We choose this cabin specifically for the area and view. We've spent several years boating on Lake Roosevelt and camping out on the beaches. We love this area of Lake Roosevelt because the water tends to be calm and there's not a lot of boat traffic.
What makes this Cabin unique
We love the Enterprise Beach and have found one of the biggest benefits to this beach is its size and seclusion. Yes, July, August and beginning of September you will find people enjoying it; but the remainder of the year there's rarely anyone here! Many times we've been the only ones around and it's so quiet and peaceful!

Cozy cabin with amazing view and surroundings!
Simply stunning view from the deck of the cabin, Jerry and Karin supplier propane and a outdoor fire place which set the mood perfectly with the sun going down on lake Roosevelt! The interior was cozy and homely feeling, perfect space for a couple trying to get away or a few buddies ready to hit the lake in the morning! I definitely recommend taking the trails down to the beaches if you can! Saw lots of deer along with some grouse and small chipmunks! If you are debating coming here, just do it!
Austin, Thank you so much for the review! We are so thrilled you had a great time and loved the cabin. I'm always in awe of the beauty there and the setting sun on the distant mountains is mesmerizing. The sunrise too, if you can get up early enough to enjoy it!. And yes, the beach is amazing and it's not uncommon to be the only one enjoying it through the off season! Hope you can come visit again!

Ideal location, stunning views, quiet, everything we hoped for and more. Hope to return soon.
If you want to experience the true feeling of a cabin; cozy, warm, comfortable, this is it. From the warm wood interior to the expansive views outdoors, this cabin delivers! We enjoyed a walk along the abandoned beach on a blustery fall day, wild and beautiful. The natural sounds in the evening lulled us to sleep...better than we have in a very long time. We hope to return again and again. Highly recommended.
We loved every second of our stay in this quaint cabin, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. We spent our mornings and evenings on the porch drinking coffee or hot chocolate, staring out towards the water. Stargazing at night while listening to the crickets...time seemed to stand still. This is a perfect couples retreat! We played board games, made up our own outdoor games with pinecones and rocks, hiked, went to the beach. We felt like kids again! We can't wait to visit again!!
The cabin was great and the views amazing. The little gas fire place on the porch saved our trip. Th
We had a great time. The cabin was nice and well stocked. The little fire pit made the trip, with all the smoke we didn't get to enjoy the view as well as we wished but we enjoyed sitting on the porch. I wish we would have known that we were driving so many miles on Dusty gravel roads though. I had my truck and boat detailed for the trip and with in the first few miles they were trashed, then as we drove in it felt like we were staying in a gravel parking lot. We made the best of what we could. The lake and beaches we're way to far to walk to and enjoy. Maybe next time.
We are glad you enjoyed the provided fire pit and propane and appreciated how stocked pur cabin is! The smoke was a nuisance this summer for many people. We are sorry your truck and boat got dusty. The road coming in, Pugh Rd., is a County maintained gravel Rd and approximately 2 miles and yes in the summer it is dusty. The faster you drive the worse it is. We keep a nice gravel area in front of the cabin for fire safety and easy maintenance , as we have people who use the full RV hookup and need to have room to pull in and park. As far as the beach goes, we do clearly state in our listing that you need to drive three tenths of a mile to the shared parking lot within the gated community and then a quarter mile hike in on a beautiful wide easy trail. It's too bad if you didn't take the time to go visit the beach. Enterprise is one of the best on all lake Roosevelt. It's huge soft Sandy beach with clear water where you can stroll along and watch bald eagles swooping by. We take off our shoes and walk along the waters edge. It's very therapeutic!
The majestic Columbia River and vast Lake Roosevelt boast a wonderful recreational paradise! With plenty of hiking opportunities, hanging out on the hammock, fishing, hunting, jet skiing, water skiing, wake boarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, or heading down to the casino, there's plenty to do! During the summer you have to check out Fort Spokane!
We find this a wonderful romantic get-away with rarely anyone on the beach (except for peak summer times). There's so much to explore we are still finding out things to do and will keep adding to the list! We've been told there's tons of snowmobiling around and plenty of hunting opportunities. Let us connect you with a hunting guide if you are unfamiliar with the area.
Our cabin is a true all wood quaint place to stay with all the amenities to enjoy some peace and quite.
The closest grocery store is in Fruitland or Hunters, North on Hwy 25. You'll find just about anything you need there along with friendly helpful staff.
