The beautiful pool gardens and location made this a great holiday for us all. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We were happy to spend the day by the pool and views over the hills are fantastic.

This place is a really lovely place to stay in Cote d `Azur, and everything is nearby; ex. Cannes in 15 minutes by car. The owners are very nice and helpful people, and have created this estate and the garden and pool + poolarea into a brilliant place to be. Everything is clean, it is calm and has good views. We lived in the Grand Large apartment (two adults and two teenagers), and we didn`t miss a thing. Spacious and wellequipped apartments with everything we needed, very well made alltogether, down to details. We would love to come back! Keep up the good work, Odile and Maxime, you are doing great!

Great place to disconnect. Beautiful view
Location was really nice and it looks just like in the pictures. We had the apartment on the top floor, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, living room ( with a sofa bed), adorable terrace with BBQ and kitchen. Very nice and friendly hosts.
Although there are 4 more families in place ( the owners, plus 3 more family tenants) it felt quite private and we never had a problem with having super crowded pool or noise or something like that. We received a key to have access to the main gate ( there is a gate at the entrance of the residential park) and the house itself so besides having independence it felt safe.
We were with our 9 months old baby and the pool was ideal for her as it has different levels very convenient for babies. On the other hand I saw a lot of little tiles missing or getting detached in the shallow area of the pool and I was afraid she or even us could get hurt.
Although we enjoyed our stay very much we felt there were some things which can be improved. Maybe in the past it was ok with closing the windows during the day to keep the place fresh but under temperatures reaching the 30 degrees in summer its impossible to sleep at night without air conditioning or fans (none of them available) . Several times I mentioned this to the owners but they told me I had to close the windows/curtains during the day and open them at night which we did but it was still very hot plus we got bitten by mosquitos especially the baby. Only the day we left they told us we could have asked for a fan ( We never used Abritel -Homeaway before so we are used to AirBnB which means whatever its not in the house is not available).
In the kitchen we felt like we could have had better/more pots. There has a huge pan, a huge pot and a very tiny pot but nothing in between. As I said it could improve but it didn’t ruin our stay as most of the time we had bbq outside which was great. Everything else like coffee maker, fridge and microwave was available.
What really shocked us was the deposit. 500 euro ( you don’t need to pay that with AirBnB) which is taken from your credit card since the moment of the check in until more than a week after check out. The owners checked themselves the apartment when just before we left so we don’t understand why its just reported to Abritel – Home Away only a week later (that’s when we got the email about reimbursement) .
A big Geant supermarket is within 15 min drive as well some other stores such as H&M

However, I want to answer
- on the problem of heat: it is true that we had hardly had to deal with this problem the years before, because the situation of the house at 200 m altitude and its exposure to the east has always allowed to keep a pleasant temperature inside (we live there for 17 years and have never installed air conditioning for reasons of protection of our health and the environment).
However, it would have been better to ask for a fan at the arrival. We could have provided it. (Actually all that is not mentioned in the equipment is not available, but insofar as we wish the well being of our tenants, we try to answer their request)
Similarly to fight against the presence of some mosquitoes at night, our tenants have always used electric mosquito outlets, perfectly effective.
- on the tesserae that are detached on the beach of the pool: there was no risk and it is precisely because it is possible to walk there that it can happen during the season (can not longer do no work under water), even as we make repairs every year at the beginning of the season.
- on the equipment: it is always possible to provide additional equipment (and on request) that are not mentioned in the description sent to the tenant before the signing of his contract.
- on the refund of the deposit: Homeway-Abritel has set up a specific system this year that many tenants and owners have not necessarily assimilated.
Indeed, each owner can agree with the platform terms of rent payment and t deposit or not. For my part, I opted for the payment of 50% of the rental amount at the time of booking, plus the service charges for the platform and tourist taxes for the municipality.
The balance of the stay, as well as the deposit, are only paid a few days before the date of arrival.
An email is sent to the tenant with the mention "pay"
This is voluntary and the tenant must approve this payment by giving his credit card number again in order to finalize his reservation.
Alejandra did not understand the system, as long she did not take this step and realized only a few days after her arrival, at my request, that she had to do it. So I was settled myself late, but I realized that she may not have sufficiently
Of the same, I did not hold the deposit myself and the platform told me that if I did not ask for any dammage, it would be fully refunded to the tenant within one week and it was done in this way.

We, a family of Four, had a wonderful week in the the appartment Le Grand Large. There is a Nice pool, which is Shared with the other guests. Very Nice host couple, who help with all sorts of things including finding tourist attractions and booking Seats at restaurants. From the House there is a spectacular mountain view. We would be happy to return.

If you're looking for a wonderful villa in a stunning setting in the Cote d `Azur then look no further. Reasonably priced, the owners, Odile and Maxime are lovely and very knowledgable about the local area. Recommendations for the Gorge de Verdon is a must. We stayed in the Grand Large apartment, with 2 teenage daughters. The weather was very hot and air conditioning would have been nice for sleeping, but otherwise fantastic. Views from the balcony overlooking the hillside with he bay in the distance were simply stunning. The grounds include a beautiful infinity pool, with the whole pool area modern and well equipped as far as loungers etc go.
I can genuinely say you will not be disappointed if you stay here and we are definitely hoping to go back again next year, which is the best recommendation I can give. Located 20 minutes from the nearest major town for shopping etc, its close enough for what you need whilst far enough away to enjoy the tranquility.
