Charming but next to the river road
The place and the cabin could be nice if there wasn’t a road between the garden and the river... people drive fast and it is not peaceful for families with children. This situation is not obvious on the pictures and we wouldn’t have rent this cabin if we initially knew.
Moreover, Uphill Behind the cabin there is a railway for merchandise trains and they pass a couples of time a day and early in the morning.
Beyond that the decoration is nice and warm.
Perfect for outdoor activities and yard games nice spot on the river actually caught some largemouth bass along with smallmouth and a catfish river was up and running fast so fishing was a little tough
Great view, clean space, plenty of room!
We really enjoyed our weekend in the cabin. The space was large enough to not feel crowded. The kids loved the big grassy yard and enjoyed seeing the train rumble by. The adults enjoyed the space below the cabin. Even with the rain we were able to be outdoors. The kitchen was stocked well enough to cook a meal and we appreciated the bedding being included. I would recommend replacing your Teflon pans. They’re all scratched up.
Four guys leaving the city for some quiet time and fresh air. Trip was great! House has everything you need with a great view of the mountains and river. The owner was very helpful! Definitely recommend this house!
Easter Weekend Family vacation
The house was beautiful inside and out. Well supplied with all the essentials you needed. Would rent this property again. Little noisy at night with trains going by but the location out weighed the noise. Had fireplace outside so you could build a fire and close to the river if you wanted to canoe.
