Large and elegant apartment in the heart of the city, fully equipped.
- english, italian
I'm an Italian born and grew up in Rome. I traveled a lot in my life, and I got for the very first time in Budapest in 2007, almost by casualty. I felt immediately in love with the place, and I caressed the dream to relocate; which I did in 2013. It's really an amazing city !!
Roberto purchased this Apartment in 2008
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment maintains many original details of the end of the 19th century: doors and windows of the period, as well as a beautiful ceramic stove. These features, in addition to the high ceilings and large glazed surfaces, give the house a special atmosphere.

We absolutely loved this beautiful flat! So much attention to detail in the design and décor - I just can't say enough about how welcome and at home we felt staying in the flat. The bedrooms and living area were so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The flat is in a wonderful location, close to everything, including the metro system which made getting around the city a breeze. Our host, Roberto, was so welcoming! He was available before and during the trip if we had any questions or needed advice. Roberto, we can't thank you enough for sharing your lovely home and offering your guidance about the fantastic city of Budapest! Grazie e migliori auguri!
Meget fin lejlighed i Budapest
Vi, to par fra Danmark, boede i lejligheden i tre dage. Der er en meget hyggelig lejlighed med tre soveværelser, to finde badeværelser, veludstyret køkken og hyggelig stue.
Lejligheden ligger meget centralt i byen. Vi brugte ikke offentlig transport i de dage vi var i byen.
Værten bor i nabolejligheden og er meget hjælpsom. Vi har kun gode ting at sige om lejliheden.
Roberto made the trip for us!
This is a wonderful property--great location, home-like feel, and lovely place to stay. But, what made our trip truly special is Roberto--he personally met us at this home, gave us a long list of recommended things to do, and was so kind! What a wonderful experience!
Great stay in Budapest
We stayed at this well appointed flat within walking distance of some great attractions or easy access to public transport, Roberto, the host was great help with local knowledge and information. The flat was cleanest place I think I’ve stayed at. When I next go to Budapest I’m sure to look up roberto for availability.
This flat was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was great - close to a street full of great restaurants and across the street from a playground (perfect for our children). Roberto was a wonderful host and went above and beyond our expectations.
The apartment was really comfortable, and was conveniently located. The owner was accommodating
This apartment was a great find, we would stay there again. The owner was terrific, warm, friendly and helpful. There were a slew of restaurants nearby so that made meals easy. The train station was really close, but due to the location of the apartment, we pretty much walked everywhere. One word of advice, if you have issues with stairs this isn’t your place, but for us it wasn’t a problem. We look forward to coming back to Budapest and staying here.
Kinizsi utca is in the central IX district (Ferencvaros).
On the same Kinizsi street you can find the Museum of Applied Arts. The Raday street, with its many restaurants, is just across. Three blocks away there's the Danube river and its park along the embankment, as well as the 'Great Market Hall', while to get to the famous and beautiful Gellert Baths you only have to cross the river walking on the Liberty Bridge. The new-gothic Church of the Parish of Ferencvaros, in Bakats Ter, is a couple a minutes away from the Kinizsi utca.
