The views are truly breathtaking and priceless. The house is extremely comfortable and big and it's close to many different attractions such as Venice and many restaurants. We will definitely return in the future.
Thank you SIlvana for the kind review! hope to see you again in Arqua' Petrarca.Matteo
Nice view and good host
We had a lovely stay at the house. It is located in a beautiful part of Italy.
Nice and clean as well. Because of super hot weather we did miss AC.
Host Matteo is very kind and helpful. We can recommend this for family use.
Beautiful house in a stunning setting
This house is situated on a hill with amazing views over the local countryside. Inside the house is very well equipped and is finished to a very high standard. We visited Venice and Padua from here and both were easy to get to. We drove to Padua but took a train to Venice and parked at the local train station. The children enjoyed playing golf around the garden and lazing in the hammock. The owner is very friendly and helpful with lots of local advice.
Dear Rachel thank you for the nice feedback, you are a nice family and we really appreciate to have a drink together.
Thanks a lot to be so respectful of the house and garden.
High quality house in a beautiful location
The house had everything we needed for our two week stay. The views were stunning over the countryside and the children enjoyed lazing in the hammock. An ideal base for exploring the region. Matteo was very helpful with information and advice when needed, very welcoming, we enjoyed the mushroom risotto he provided when we were having a barbecue one night. We had a lovely holiday here.
This property is amazingly beautiful, with views that go on forever.
We are two couples who have travelled together a lot, and always try to find out of the way places. This beautiful home did not disappoint. Our host, Matteo, was very kind and not obtrusive at all, even though he also lives on the property. He was always available to (patiently) answer questions and give directions or advice on how to get to places we wanted to see.
Only complaint we had was that wifi, although available, did not work very well, although this was not a surprise due to the remoteness of the property.
The village of Arqua Petrarca is a delight. The bakery makes the best brioche (croissants). And there are several wonderful restaurants in this little village.
Thanks a lot for your patience with the wifi , im sorry but as you know we do not have adsl up to the hill ,we have to manage with gsm modem and they 're not so affordable.
i was very happy to host you and givin you some advise about our beautifull region.
A lovely retreat
The house is beautiful and comfortable in a pleasant, quiet town outside of Padua. Matteo, the owner, is welcoming and unobtrusive. We had a wonderful time and felt at home during our time at the house. The living room and dining room make for a very nice place to gather at the end of the day. The kitchen has plenty of room and all the pots, pans, plates, etc. you need to cook your own meals. The views from the house are also incredible, looking down over the valley. I highly recommend the house, and have nothing bad to say about our time there.
Thanks a lot Thomas ! was a pleasure to host you and your group, very friendly guests.
