Villa Ginestra is an elegant residence with a private infinity pool overlooking the bay of Marina di Novaglie; it stands on a panoramic hill with an enchanting sea view. The villa is immersed in the unspoiled Mediterranean scrub of the Otranto-Leuca protected park and is only a few minutes from the most beautiful beaches of Salento. The outdoor area is the strong point of the house with its garden with lawn, a cooling private swimming pool and well-stocked solarium with comfortable lounges, deck chairs, tables with chairs and a terrace with spectacular sea views. The main house consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, a bright living area with comfortable armchairs and a well-stocked kitchen. There is an annex with bedroom and private bathroom and a large private terrace equipped with a sitting area and deck chairs. For a total of 6 beds. Designed for families who come on vacation with parents or older children who want to enjoy their privacy. Thanks to its position, guests can immerse themselves in the total tranquility of a wonderful landscape, a few steps from the sea and a few kilometers from the most renowned centers of Salento, such as Specchia, Leuca and Otranto.

Fabulous four days in southern Puglia

We had a fabulous time at this villa between Marina di Novaglie and Gagliano del Capo. The access road and driveway are a bit scary, but that's the price of what is a truly priceless location and view of the coastline and the sea. Everything about the property is first-rate, with every convenience you could hope for. We spent a wonderful few days exploring the neighbouring cities and towns, and even managed a short swim in the lovely infinity pool, despite the cool weather (it was still April, to be honest). Lecce is not to be missed; a totally glorious baroque masterpiece architecturally and artistically. The food is delicious, with the local bread rolls, puccia, among the best bread I've ever eaten - so very simple and delicious with the delightfully fresh local produce and fabulous cured meats. The coastal drive up to Otranto was a highlight, despite the public holiday traffic. This port city with its lovely lungomare promenade and historic centre is a wonderful spot for lunch and strolling/exploring. We couldn't fault any aspect of the property or the neighbourhood, and would love to return one day for a longer stay, perhaps in the early autumn when the days are a bit warmer. Luciana is a perfect host and was very helpful with advice and a warm welcome. Grazie mille!

The View!

We really had an incredible time in Marina di Novaglie. It was a family reunion of sorts, three sisters getting together with a brother-in-law. We enjoyed the house, but we really enjoyed the view. We did daily excursions to nearby beaches, Pescoluse, and took a day trip up to Lecce. We enjoyed the lunch at somewhat famous La Scalo, which is just below the house on the water. The house was very clean and we certainly use the kitchen and laundry a little bit. It would have been nice to have an extra set of towels and a couple extra rolls of toilet paper.

We stayed here (a couple) for a week in September and everything was perfect, the villa really is as beautiful as the pictures, you would never tire of the view. It is very well equipped with everything you need, and to a high standard. It’s an incredibly peaceful location and if you want to relax it couldn’t be better. You do need a car, however we did walk down to the marina a couple of evenings - there’s an excellent pizzeria there - and it took 25 mins as there’s a steep hill. The pizza was worth it though! Fantastic villa and we would stay again.
