Why Diane Olsson chose Poipu
We decided to buy this property and build a house here in Poipu Kai as we love the area and the nice paved and lighted pathway leading from Poipu Beach to Shipwreck Beach....it is an ideal location in Poipu Beach as it is just a short walking distance to beaches and restaurants.

Cute and Cozy place
We truly enjoyed our time here. The property is very Beautiful. This is a perfect location, we were close to shopping and restaurants. Everything was clean inside and out of the place. It is a beautiful neighborhood too. We Loved our time here. 5 Star for sure!!
Thanks so much and so happy you enjoyed your stay!
A week in paradise.
We spent a week in the Royal Kauai Suite. It was really wonderful. It looked exactly like the pictures. Diane was very responsive and easy to work with. The air conditioner in the bedroom was a welcome treat and made sleeping in the comfortable bed dreamy. The beach chairs came in handy for the short walk to the beach. We would certainly rent this unit again!
Too hot and insect problem.
Our experience was unfortunately tainted by insects inside the property. The owner was very responsive to this issue, however, we were unable to have an exterminator visit until day three of our trip. The living area was also very hot in the summer without a cross breeze to cool things down. The bedroom had a window unit that kept us cool at night.
My wife and I just spent 11 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The suite itself is part of the downstairs of a nice 2-story home next to a condominium resort area, and is about a 7-10 minute walk to Poipu Beach. The suite was clean and had everything we needed. It even had two nice boogie boards, two nice beach chairs, and a cooler (although the cooler is a small one). There is a nice gas grill on the lanai which made cooking dinners easy. Also, there is a washer and dryer for shared use in the garage of the home. Diane, the owner, was super nice and easy to communicate with. I cut my finger pretty bad during our stay. My wife texted Diane asking if she had any band aids. Diane showed up with not only band aids, but neosporin, medical tape, and scissors...and left all there for us to use during our stay. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.
The Kauai Suite in Poipu Beach provided a very nice home base during our stay on Kauai. The suite was private and conveniently located. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable (basic cooking supplies - pans, oils, knives, spices, enough ice for the day etc.; bathroom - tissue, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towels; beach - umbrella, chairs, small cooler, beach towels; bedroom - comfortable bedding, plenty of storage, ironing board and iron.) We particularly enjoyed the shade of the outdoor patio to visit and relax during the occasional afternoon or evening downtime and appreciated the bedroom air conditioner at night.
Within a short walking distance to Brennecke's Beach, Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. Also close to Mahaulapu Beach & the small boat harbor in Poipu....for great sunset and south shore snorkeling & diving trips. Poipu has great beaches for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding and surfing. The National Tropical Botanical Gardens is located here in Poipu & the Spouting Horn...blow hole!
