A Gem Just Outside Bordeaux
We enjoyed the home and location- perfect for wine tasting in the various regions. The property is just a short walk to town and several restaurants. We highly recommend this home.

Perfect
Just what we needed for the final leg of self drive part of our holiday in France. We stayed for 4 nights and could not have picked a better accommodation. Eclectic and homey. Peaceful and quiet. Personable. Lots of books. Had everything we needed. Felt like a home I could live in. Lovely garden. A Magpie visited us daily! Beautiful town. Great pizza place a block up the road. A short drive to St. Emilion, as well as Arcachon the opposite way. Wish I could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend and would definitely come back should I ever be in the area again.

Lush landscape; elegant interior
You could spend a couple days of your holiday just relaxing in the peaceful gardens and lounging at the pool of this beautiful, secluded, yet conveniently located property. It is tucked away off a small side street in the hillside neighborhood of Bouliac that includes a historic church open for touring, behind which is an overlook giving a stunning view of downtown Bordeaux. A clock tower on the church rings out the hour of day. Bouliac has a charming town square with a restaurant, pizzeria and boulangerie and not much more. But nothing more is not required. The interior of the house features two-story wood-beam ceilings in the main sitting room with plenty of doors and windows to let in natural light. The small kitchen opens to a deck for eating outdoors. The fridge and a downstairs toilet is tucked away in a smaller room leading to the garage. A staircase leading to a balcony overlooking the main living area leads to the four bedrooms. A spacious master bedroom with a master bath sits off of a small second-story office. The other bedrooms are of sufficient size and all have windows overlooking the pool and gardens. I would highly recommend this property when staying in Bordeaux.
