Fantastic location, well equipped and a comfortable place to stay. We would definitely recommend Graceville.
I would strongly recommend this villa to everyone concerned about quality.
Graceville was just perfect. The location was superb (just over the road to the beach). The housekeeper (Alicia) was really approachable and friendly. Our stay could not have been any better.
We loved Graceville
Graceville was ideal for our 2 families with 2 three year old children and a 1 year old child. Just across the street (literally a few steps) to a fabulous calm beach that the children loved, the beach had shade and somewhere we could purchase drinks. The villa also had loads of chairs for the beach and umbrellas and a picnic cool box which was great for us. We walked to a really fun beach-bar. If you choose not to rent a vehicle, the bus stops right in front of Graceville. The villa has a HUGE, grassy, fenced back yard which was perfect for young children to play. We loved Graceville. We would definitely be happy to stay again!
Graceville is located just a stone's throw from the fabulous white sandy beach, where you'll find all water sports and boat trips. The Caribbean Sea is perfect for swimming and snorkelling.
Just outside the property you can catch a bus. The buses are frequent and inexpensive. Speightstown is a short 5 minute ride north and Holetown is about the same distance South - an easy journey, straight along the coast road.
Speightstown is a quaint historic town and you will find a fish market, street vendors, bakery, shops, supermarket, banks, cafes and restaurants - even a museum and art gallery.
Holetown again has a fabulous array of shops, including the trendy Limegrove Lifestyle centre where you'll find famous, designer shops, duty free outlets, bars, cafes, restaurant and a great cinema. There is a large supermarket stocking local and international produce.
There are many options for dining out and the standard of restaurants is first class.
For sight-seeing you can take a trip around the island (24 miles long and 14 miles wide), you can get around in one day and there's lots to see. The rugged Atlantic coast of the East is a contrast to the calm, lapping waves of the West. There are botanical gardens and National Trust properties.
