The room was nice
July 4th week
Location was great... nice being on the main floor easy to get to beach
.from the living room you see the pool and great view of the ocean.. Kitchen was stocked with nornal items, 2 nice full bathrooms.. our kids enjoyed the bunkbeds.. The master bedroom was big , bed was comfortable it did get hot at night even tho we had air turn down .. The only down fall was the security guards were not friendly, as we checked in it was like we room, date and I need $20.. Next day we asked where do get ice and he said no my problem.. 3rd day we left a towel on our cooler to dry from swimming and got a ticket that we would be fined if we left it outside again.. We enjoyed our stay but not sure if we would stay there again due to them...
Old and run down
Old worn out furniture, dust on everything, filthy floors, mattresses on all beds need to be replaced, mold in wash machine that doesn’t fit in its closet
Can’t wait for next year 😃
Everything was great, best location anyone could ask for.
Mother Nature could have held back some of the flood for another time... but she seems to have a mind of her own 😁
The room was great, everything worked, we will have no problem booking again 😎
Nice place to stay
This is a nice little place to get away. It was nice to have two full bathrooms. I didn't feel that the bed was horrible however my husband did not sleep well on it. Lots of tossing and turning with back pain and sore muscles in the morning. The condo had a slight oder to the place. Nothing unbearable. The pool was very nice! The appliances were nice. Found everything in the kitchen that was needed except baking dishes/cookie sheets/pizza pan etc. I would stay here again.
You get what you pay for.
+The proximity to the pool, beach, restaurants, and shopping were great!!
+The king bed was comfortable.
+The price was reasonable.
+The complex and surrounding area seem very safe and family friendly.
+Nice appliances - washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, and microwave.
-Smelled like mold. This is the worst part. It was hard to breath before we left the slider open for a couple days. I’m now on my way home and notice my clothes retained the smell, and it’s strong! (Not to be dramatic, but I’m slightly worried that a week there wasn’t good for our health and can you bring mold spores home with you??)
-The ground-level slider door doesn’t lock, it’s kept closed by a wooden bar wedged behind it.
-The bedroom ceiling fan didn’t work and was dangling from the ceiling.
-The bedroom window doesn’t open so there was no air circulating (which may lend to the mold smell).
-The bunk beds are definitely for small kids only.
-Note says not to place towels on floor, but there are no bath mats or rugs, so???
-The pull out couch should be burned! It was less uncomfortable folded up than as a bed, but even then it was awful. My 12 year old sleeps anywhere and he said it was terrible. I felt bad for him having to sleep on it.
-The master bedroom comforter and pillows are very worn out and used and should be replaced.
-There are not enough dishes, period.
-The laundry closet door doesn’t close because the washer is too big. This is a minor inconveniences
-The place is very dusty and dirty. It needs a deep clean BADLY! I am not a neat freak at all, but the layers of dust and dirt on the surfaces and floor was disgusting.
-There is a $20 parking fee that I wasn’t warned about until I got a warning ticket from the very grumpy security guard, Les.
-Lots of small things were broken like backs of remote controls that fall off or are missing.
-I had to call VRBO to get the access code on the day of arrival. Not the end of the world but I started to get nervous we wouldn’t be able to get in...which is not a fun way to start vacation.
-“Emergency” flashlight didn’t work.
-Most condos I’ve stayed in have information on local food and entertainment, but not this one.
With about $1,000 invested in cleaning, furniture, repairs, fresh paint and maybe a little more than that for mold remediation, this place could be dreamy. Overall, I would stay here again if it were the only place available.
