Is located on a hill northeast of funchal, in a side road and in a quiet area of detached houses, has an odd view of the amphitheater of funchal, the atlantic ocean and mountains, the distance from the airport international de funchal is 15 minutes and 8 minutes by car from the center of the capital-funchal, it is a starting point for the whole island. Its interior is spacious and comfortable. Has a large terrace across the facade of the apartment, all bedrooms have direct access to the terrace with table and chairs. Amazing views

The apartment is located in an upscale area overlooking Funchal. The grounds seem like a botanical garden with walking paths and sitting areas. We did not have a car and there are no restaurants within walking distance. However the bus stop is just around the corner and it was fun to go into Funchal, spend the day, then return to the beautiful setting. We loved our stay and would book again.

Incredible

What an incredible experience. Madeira is such a beautiful place with a lot to see. I was glad that I had a car. Downtown Funchal was easy to get to and the place was so comfortable and clean. Our hostess was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Views of the bay were awesome.

We would make the same choice again

Fantastic views of the ocean, the city and the hills above no matter whether you're inside or outside. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice welcome from Filomena who was there to show us around and makke us feel at home. We stayed there the first week of March and it was sometimes quite chilli in the apartment which has no heating. Instead there is a small transportable radiator but of course you can only have that in one room at a time. In spite of this we loved staying there and we'll want to stay there again if or when we go to back to Madeira.

Perfect.

This property is wonderful! Sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset was the highlight. Home is well equipped with everything you need. Views from the bedroom are equally stunning. Zen-like garden. Host was available and easy to communicate with.

Eagle’s Nest

It’s quite a winding steep road up to the property (but we used Bolt drivers so it wasn’t an issue), so don’t plan on taking walks from here, but the landscaping, gardens, outdoor spaces and the views were so charming. Filomena, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. The apartment is stocked with everything you need.
