Great rental for a family
I traveled to Bolton Landing with my husband, 4 year old and 1 year old. This condo was very family friendly. It was spacious and clean. We used the pool daily and often went to the little beach and dock on the property. My husband and I loved the view from the upstairs bedroom - what a tranquil scene when you get up. The location was great - a short 5 minute drive into Bolton where we loved the restaurant Cate’s and the shop Happy Jack. We also traveled frequently to Lake George, which was a scenic 20 minute drive.
I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a fun, relaxing time at the lake. From the view to the endless amenities, everything was perfect. The new bathrooms and kitchen were a plus, and overall the house was immaculate. It was extremely spacious for our family of five. The lake was a five minute walk or you could drive and park your car. The kids enjoyed the new docks to jump into the deeper water to swim and hang out on their tubes in lake. The beach area was shallow and was also enjoyable for younger children. The patio area was perfect for families to relax and enjoy lunch or dinner. We have vacationed at Lake George for years and this is by far the best rental we have ever had! Michelle C.
Great location in the Bolton Landing area
Property is as advertised. Clean, well maintained, owner keeps in touch. The location is just outside town, a very short drive. I would still drive it rather than walk it due to the busier road. The dock/beach area is very nice to lounge around at, or better yet bring your SUP or kayak and launch it there. So many great hikes in the area. Check out the Lake George Land Conservancy properties for some excellent shorter family walks. Decent restaurants in Bolton Landing. Tops supermarket right down the street. Pool is nice and clean. Only used it once since we were too busy with other activities. Favorite restaurant was the Algonquin. I also recommend taking the trip to the Natural Stone Bridge and Caves for a unique, fun experience.
Clean and well equipped
Loved everything about this property. Really didn’t need to bring anything except my clothes!
It was a great property! The homeowners were terrific to deal with before and during our stay!
We loved the location, especially enjoyed the heated pool in the community! We also loved the 3rd floor shower with skylight. It was a unique experience to have the sun shining on you in the shower! The homeowners were terrific, even bought us dinner because the workers they had scheduled to replace a door in the condo were delayed and showed up 6 hours late! They informed of us this work at the time of booking and had discounted the rent due to the inconvenience! They certainly didn’t need to buy us dinner, but it showed their integrity and was greatly appreciated!
Area has a lot to offer being less than a mile to Bolton Landing, public beaches and a variety of restaurants. We chartered a private boat thru Indian Pipes Charter Cruises docked a mile away at the Sagamore and that was a great way to see Lake George. We really enjoyed the area and would like to come back to the area when the Lake is a little warmer! We would be happy to stay in this unit at Juniper Hills again!
Wonderful quiet getaway
Perfect quiet space away from the noise and pace of Lake George, while still accessible. Close to great hiking trails. Beautiful clean comfortable stay for two adults and two children. Would highly recommend.
