2 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath Cabin With Mountain Views - Sleeps 6.
About Berrie Ives
We live in the area and love it! Brian was raised just a few miles west in Green Mountain Falls. Berrie grew up in Florida and other places, but has called Colorado home since 2000.
Berrie Ives purchased this Cabin in 2002
Why Berrie Ives chose Cascade
We fell in love with the views and the history of the house. It was previously owned by the famed Unser racing family. We are big fans of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and enjoy knowing that our home is permanently affiliated with the race. The area is perfect for nature lovers and we take advantage of the trails and scenery at every opportunity.
What makes this Cabin unique
The cabin is perfectly situated between the beautiful city of Colorado Springs and the mountains of Ute pass and beyond. You can be downtown or deep into the forest in a matter of minutes. The elevation makes for cooler summer days and the views are awe inspiring. Woodland park is seven miles west with shopping, restaurants and lots of fun activities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is in perfect condition and the hosts have thought of every little detail to make us feel so comfortable! They even had breakfast items ready for when we arrived! The kid friendly items were huge too - baby gate, pack n play, and high chair were more than we even expected.
The driveway is a little hard to find even though they gave very good instructions, and it was a bit closer to highway traffic with highway noise than we expected, but those were minor compared to how nice the place is. Plus, there is a lovely waterfall and patio in the back that is much more protected from the traffic noise and overlooks only forest area, no other houses.
All in all, we would highly recommend this home and would love to come back to stay again!
The house was very clean & well stocked. Our son is a cadet at the Air Force Academy and he asked me to find a "getaway" for us to stay in close to attractions. This was perfect. He was excited to see it was a whole house & much larger than expected. Our father-in-law came and the downstairs bed & bath was nice for him to have his own space. The bathroom & bedroom upstairs are very spacious. It's a wonderful place to stay!
Base camp for Colorado Springs adventure
This place is centrally located to a lot of attractions. Cabin was equipped with all the amenities we needed. We only ate out once and cooked all out meals there. Well-equipped. Cabin equipped with WiFi, dish, etc. All very easy to use. .
This is a great property to return to after a long day out exploring
My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed property. It was in the perfect location for the things we wanted to see and do in the Colorado Springs/Canon City area. The owner provided snacks for us, which we certainly appreciated on our long days out adventuring, and some staples in the refrigerator. The driveway was a bit of a challenge to navigate the first time, but we soon got the hang of it. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.
The property was immaculate! Little details left for us made the stay feel special...owners were friendly and so very easy to work with. Our first experience with VBRO and I am sure we were spoiled by it! It could not have been better!!
Super clean, and close to many attractions
We loved this little house! The place was so clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for the weekend and some extras left for us to use that made the stay easier! Its close to many area attractions. We loved it and would love to come again!
