Mrs C Rowe
About Mrs C Rowe
I have taken over the running of this holiday cottage from my husbands parents who have been running it for over 20 years and who have been living at the farm house for 80 years and over 50 years.
Why Mrs C Rowe chose Saxmundham
Many customers can not believe how quiet it is at the cottage and many have booked numerous return visits. One couple have been coming every year for 20 years.

lovely stay at Rubblestone Cottage
After receiving very detailed directions we found the cottage with no trouble and were welcomed as we drove in by Hilda. The cottage was well equipped and lovely touches of milk, biscuits, coffee and tea which was really nice. we would have liked to have stayed longer but will definitly try and book again another time. It is really well placed to go either to Felixstowe or Lowestoft with all the nice places in between. Very peaceful and comfortable. Excellent accommodation.
The stairs are very steep and the only toilet is downstairs but we were fine and my 88 year old mum managed and felt it was a lovely homely place to stay.

Fantastic short stay
We stayed in this cottage for 3 nights in early summer. The Cottage was perfect for our needs and we had a lovely break here. The cottage is well equipped with everything you may need and is very clean. The bedrooms are a great size. (we were 2 adults and a toddler) There was ample room in the twin room to place a travel cot and, if requested, a board can be made available to block the top of the stairs from adventurous toddlers. The house is very secluded but this was not a problem. The nearest town is just 5 mins drive away. The gardens and surrounding fields are beautiful. The couple who live in the farmhouse (attached) are lovely. They were very welcoming and friendly. We made full use of the gardens during the lovely weather. We would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family and will return again ourselves.
Thank you very much for having us.

What a beautiful place to stay! This was our first trip to Suffolk and it didn't disappoint. The cottage is located in a lovely, tranquil spot, something that was very important to us. It is very conveniently placed to visit RSPB Minsmere which was the main purpose of our trip. We had a wonderful warm welcome, all of the facilities we needed, great restaurants nearby and saw loads of birds! A very big thank you to Caroline and her family for making this a perfect trip for us. We only stayed for three nights but we definitely will be back for longer next time.
