This property has all the charm with working fireplace, Dade County Pine flooring,outside trellised patio,etc. as well as modern central/air and new master bath and totally new kitchen/living area addition and new appliances.Washer and dryer are included as well as full kitchen small appliances and utensils. It has a totally fenced-in rear yard and separate garage( inquire about use).High speed WIFI and ATT Uverse TV.

Enjoying Delay Beach

This was our second visit to stay at Claudia's property in Delray Beach. Recently remodeled, the house was excellent in every way. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed and everything was in excellent condition. We enjoyed it so much that we have already agreed to return next year. Thank you Claudia!

Excellent facility in Delray Beach

Home with recent renovations to create an elegant open French kitchen and dining area looking out to the garden. Just steps from Atlantic Avenue and the Waterway it is within walking distance of the beach. The owner is great to deal with and we keep coming back. I would recommend it to anyone that will treat this home with the respect it deserves.

Great place in a great location

Sweet clean home with a wonderful kitchen, close to the best of Delray Beach in a nice neighborhood. I loved walking to the restaurants and night scene and also being pretty close to the beach. Home very clean and owner a pro at making everything just right.

Beautiful and Clean

This was my first visit to Delray and I was so lucky to find the perfect place to stay. The cottage had everything I could possibly need, super clean, loved the decor and the location was great. I will definitely be back!!

Nice cottage and town, TERRIBLE owner.

The cottage is nice and Delray is great, but as veterans of dozens of vacation rentals over many years we can say unequivocally that this owner is terrible. She scheduled renovations during our tenancy and insisted in shrill emails that she had the right to have any work done any time, rather than only “necessary and agreed” repairs as stipulated in the lease. (Some of the planned renovations were done, some not.) She made a mistake in our security deposit reimbursement, and rather than refund the additional money she sent us a long email tirade admitting the mistake but altering her charges to cover the amount, without receipts. She was difficult to deal with throughout. What would have been a nice stay became very stressful. If you rent this property, be sure to follow her many single-spaced pages of instructions to the letter, and be ready for imperious demands at any moment.

Owner's Response: This guest was a 3 month rental . They asked to arrive early and I granted that request even though I was in the midst of repairs which they accepted when they moved in.. As I tried to complete previously scheduled work , they demanded the work not be done and they sent many threatening emails which I would not participate in and are misleading in their reference to them. I did not do the work which was scheduled before their occupancy even though I felt it was necessary for the safety of my home. I had many complaints from my yard crew and neighbor as they were very inconsiderate with their dog and the yard was always filled with dog poop and the planted beds were destroyed by the dog. They refused to allow the maid to come after the first visit and used the house as a storage unit ,filling the entire house and garage with boxes as they were relocating . They left the property in a terrible condition which required far more that the $300 security to repair.I offered photos and receipts. I had 3 witnesses there helping to restore the home for the next guests .The dog had pooped on the beds, pans were put away with food in them, all sofas had to have covers removed be cleaned( and rugs as well )as they were filthy. Even though I provide sofa covers for all guests with pets, they chose not to use them or the dogie bags I provide either. The list was very long to return the property.to one that respected the next guest.The cleaner alone was there 10hrs for a home that is usually a 5 hr turn-around. I had to have yard repair and the furniture moved back as it had been relocated over the house. They are trying to paint me in a bad light but I have many, many wonderful caring guests and most of my rentals are returning guests for 8 yrs or more..I can certainly have them provide a reference if needed.I do expect happy guests who respect the property and these guests were not either.

Downtown Delray offers many good restuarants and nightlife. There are many galleries and antique shops within a few blocks as well as music, bars, and boutique shops. The public beach is one of South Florida's best. Delray has an 'old Florida' feel but offers many arts and cultural events. The Tennis facility which is located just 8 blocks away is open to the public and has professional events as well.There are many golf courses from which to choose.

Delray is close to both West Palm and Fort Lauderdale so is easily accesssible by both airports and only 1 hour north of Miami.
