Lucky last minute booking

The Pergolizzis were very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect, really centrally located from the mountains, restaurants, and outlets. We were coming in late, so the caretaker turned on the lights and doors so we would make it in okay. It was spacious for 4 adults.

Perfect for the Price and Location

  • 5 of 5

This place was perfect for our trip. The price was one of the cheapest we could find for around the Holidays and John was very friendly and easy to work with. Stayed for 2 nights. The house doesn't offer much that will keep you indoors, which I really enjoyed. There is too much technology in everyday life these days and this house makes you go out and explore Vermont. We rode Stratton 3 days while we were there (only a 15 min drive) and checked out down town Manchester as well. I never got why people would venture to Vermont to just sit inside on a cell phone or watch TV. At this house there was limited cell phone service and a weak internet connection (might have been picking up the neighbors internet signal), which is the perfect combination to make everyone enjoy the company they are with. There is a TV with cable and a decent movie collection as well. It was nice to watch the news in the morning and toss in a movie at night after a long day of riding. House has a propane stove as its primary heating source, which is a nice rustic touch. The house was also surprisingly roomy and easily slept 6 of us. So if you're looking for a cheap place to stay a few nights, and don't plan on staying indoors for the majority of your trip, this is the place. No need to pay for an indoor swimming pool if you know you're not going to use it. I'll definitely be returning.
