Exterior of property, back and front, has not been maintained for a long period of time. Rear of house, windows, patio doors and chairs covered in mold, not a very appealing outside seating area. The junk car parked in the driveway was unacceptable. The overall interior of house appeared fine when you first entered however this house has not had a thorough cleaning in a very long time.

Owner's Response: "The front and rear lawn are dead and non existent." Florida has been going through a tremendous drought. the city and county will not allow sufficient watering. We paid for new sod and it all died. this is now very common here in Florida. In the North you have Naturally green lawns, loads of fresh water and snow melting after winter, here in the South we Pray for Rain. Yes there is: " a small old car" the owner of this car, a young man, was called into military service and we allowed him to store it in our garage there. (we removed it from the garage to accommodate, you, the renters) it will be removed when he is on Leave and comes back to Florida soon. Sorry for the Inconvenience. We were out of state due to a death in the family. unaware that "mold was growing on the rear of the house. Thanks for the heads up. We have brought this to the attention of the Property Management Company and they have assured us that they will have the House Pressure Washed as well as the Lawn chairs. additional comments from owners..Thank You for alerting us to these problems. we have already as of today March 14th had the management company pressure wash the entire exterior of this home and now it looks sparkling clean. New patio furniture has been provided, and we have purchased a car cover online which when received will cover the "small old car" which was an eyesore.

Great home near everything

We stayed at this lovely home for the month of February 2016. We got a house with multiple bedrooms to accommodate 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren the last week of February. The home has an open concept. While not on a beach, it is 2.5 miles to the nearest beaches. It is also 2 miles to the Tarpon Springs Sponge dock and historic area. The Tarpon Springs area has numerous places to visit, from historic, to nature, beaches to shopping, and State Parks. This home was perfectly located. There is room to park your car. A grill is there for your use if you want to eat in. The home is fully equipped from kitchen, bath and bedrooms. It does have WiFi. I rarely see a home with so much closet space. The main bathroom is very large and the upstairs bathroom was completely redone the week before our arrival. Despite some chilly days, our granddaughters did test the pool at the community pool site.

We did leave for 2 days to stay closer to Universal Studios and opted not to drive after a long day but again, this was an easy commute to the Studios and back to Tarpon Springs. A good option if you don't want to spend an entire week in the very hectic Orlando area. The only issues were minor. The sofas were in need of some TLC and the futons which are listed in the 4th room as sleepers were found to be too uncomfortable. We had our own backup foam mattresses for such. The 3 other beds were comfy and cozy. We really enjoyed meeting the owner Dave and his mother Martha. We recommend this home for a family or for a group such as a girls weekend or week.

Florida Occupancy Taxes of 11% and Reservation deposit are additional.
Payment Policies: A Deposit to secure dates of $500.00 is
due upon booking. Balance of full payment is due upon arrival with cash,
cashier's check, or money order. Payment by personal check must be
received two (2) weeks prior to occupancy. Liability for damages
is not limited to the amount of the deposit.
CANCELLATION: The reservation/security deposit is non-refundable for
any cancellation. Reservations will be canceled for guests failing to
notify us and failing to check-in by 5:00 p.m. on the day following
confirmed arrival date. No refunds for early departure.
Arrival / Departure: Arrivals after 4 p.m. Departure by 10:00
a.m. (Early arrivals available upon request.)
Absolutely No Pets!
Absolutely No Smoking inside the home! If any smoking odors or
traces are found inside the home at check-out you will lose your
entire security deposit. Smoking is permited outside on patio.
Home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Respect and
consideration are a must at this home.
Maximum Occupancy 10 persons, including infants and children, in or
on this property at any time.
You must be 25 years or older to rent this property.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
