Beautiful newly renovated 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath High end Beachfront Condo in Turtle Dunes in Amelia Island Plantation. Large ground floor end unit is
approx. 2,000 square feet. Most importantly, great ocean view with
beach and pool each within 50 yards.
This unit is newly redecorated, and is not your typical beach
rental. 10 foot ceilings in living room, dining room, and bedrooms.
Newly repainted throughout, and new granite countertops, cabinetry, and new appliances have been installed in kitchen. Large plasma TV with cable and blu-ray.
This unit is the best of both worlds....great view of the beach from
your private back patio while getting quick access to parking or
beach and pool. Turtle Dunes is the southernmost condo in Amelia
Island Plantation, so you will have plenty of privacy on the beach
or pool. There is no public access to the beach, so crowds are not
No smoking, no pets.

For those still considering other beach areas. let me explain the
reasons we decided to purchase in Amelia Island rather than Destin
area, which were our options as Atlanta residents.
1) Closer, easier drive from Atlanta or other Northern cities. More
use of highways. We are only 20 minutes off I-95. Much closer to
commercial airport..Jacksonville Airport is only 30 minutes away.
2) Private, relaxing atmosphere. Minimal traffic congestion,
beaches and restaurants never crowded.
3) Better weather. Warmer in winter, cooler in summer by a few
degrees. Fewer hurricane risks which could impact your vacation. It
has been nearly 100 years since significant hurricane has hit Amelia
Island. Several times a year we get folks moving from the gulf to our
unit to escape the brunt of a hurricane.
4) Better beach and ocean. We've not aware of any issues with
riptide or red tides. Beach is much longer and wider. Great beach
for running or even biking on the sand- beach is so wide that there is
good mix between soft sand (for dipping your toes) and hard sand (for
running, biking, etc.)
5) Beauty. Tree-lined biking trails beat highrise-lined streets in
Destin. Seldom any lines at the local awesome restaurants.
6) Better rental value for your money. This unit would rent for 30%
more in Destin.
7) Activities. World class golf and tennis. Beautiful bike trails.
You are at a resort...not a big condo in row of big condos.
Historical Fernandina Beach and Fort Clinch Park are each 15 minutes
away. Downtown Fernandina Beach has is a charming area...with great
restaurants without the feeling of being a tourist trap.

Lovely ground floor, corner unit with views of the ocean. Walk out to pool, beach, and walking paths. Very comfortable three bedroom condo. Tastefully furnished. Fully equipped kitchen. Gigantic shower in master bedroom. Surpassed all of our expectations. The gorgeous sunrises were the cherry on top. Highly recommended.

Perfect condo for our girls' weekend. Amenities in and around the condo were perfect. Couldn't have asked for a more accommodating experience with the owners and managers of the property. 3 large bedrooms and baths and fully equipped kitchen. The patio was beachfront and close to the pool! I highly recommend this property and will be renting again on our next visit to Amelia Island!
We have stayed in this condo 3 times since 2005. Every time it has been a wonderful, relaxing retreat. There is nothing like spending time on the patio after dinner, enjoying drinks and listening to the calming sounds of the Atlantic! I highly recommend this condo! So close to the beach and pool, it couldn't be any easier! There is nothing like Amelia Island Plantation's quiet secluded beaches. A perfect get away for my family of 6!
