Great place for a long Clemson football weekend

  • 5 of 5

The place was perfect. We rented a boat from the nearby marina, took it to the house to load it up, and spent the day on the lake. The location of the home made it a great place for getting to and from the Clemson football game. We had 5 people but could've had 8. I will definitely try getting this house again next year.

Great for swimming and boating

  • 5 of 5

The location of the house was perfect; not out in the middle of the lake but still close to everything. The layout is also great for several couples or a family to stay comfortably. We enjoyed a birthday weekend of boating, swimming, and fishing and had a great stay!

We had an amazing time! We had the best time swimming, jumping off the porch, swinging from the rope swing, boating and just relaxing at the house. We didn't want to leave! We will be back!!!!

Excellent place for family fun

  • 5 of 5

My family spent part of the week at this great house over the lake. The owner was very good to work with and helpful. The house was roomy and well equipped. My granddaughters loved being able to fish from the balcony and swim right off of the private boat ramp. A canoe is also provided and it was great for paddling around the beautiful cove. The water in the cove is very clean and the neighbors were friendly. We rented a boat from the marina one day and went island hopping in the lake. I highly recommend this property especially for families with little ones that might just be learning about lake fun. We usually do a summer beach trip but this vacation converted us to lake goers I think.

Fun place ON the lake!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in the house built over the lake. Having the boat ramp at the house made it very easy to put our boat in the water! There is plenty of room for parking cars and boat trailer. The house is older, but furnished comfortably. The kitchen is well-stocked with most everything you need for meal preparation and eating. There is another family room not mentioned or shown in the pictures with a comfortable couch and chair for lounging. The TVs in the family rooms are old, but we didn't spend much time indoors watching TV. The house does not have WiFi, but we were there to relax, not stay on our phones, tablets and computers! The bedrooms were large, and the beds very comfortable. It was relaxing to sit on the balcony over the water and fish or just enjoy the peace with a cup of coffee or wine. The cove has several houses in it, but is not extremely busy. Most of the boats coming and going are residents or people staying in the houses. Not a lot of lake traffic, which made it great for playing in the water below the house. It was great to walk down the boat ramp into the water! The close proximity to grocery stores and Seneca Marina make this house a good place for a great vacation!
