We loved our stay in the cottage and we so enjoyed meeting Sonnie & Greg. We learned to appreciate the darling girls in the yard-what a lovely experience!

Thanks.

One of our best/top stays ever!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the cottage was very enjoyable! Words can be hard to describe such a smartly equipped one bedroom place. Everything we needed was provided! The full kitchen and living room area made living so much easier than renting a hotel room, pricing cannot compare. The bedroom is nicely tucked away with a nice bathroom just steps away. The bed has to be the most comfortable we have ever stayed in at any rentals! Free cable and internet helped to keep connected with everyday living and business as we were very busy with buying a new home in the area. The tile and wood flooring helped to maintain them clean, loved it!

We rented this place throughout the Christmas holidays...and must say that we were quite surprised with a Christmas card and freshly baked cookies! Thanks again!

On one occasion we accidentally locked ourselves out late at night..fortunately the owners were kind enough to wake up and provide us with another! Thank you so very much!

The place is a walking distance from a Dollar General store for the small things one may need. Shops and restaurants are near as well. The neighborhood is quite and clean, one most would prefer to live in.

Upon check out, we ran short on time as our attorney office moved our time, and bank had to make corrections to paperwork for our new home. The owners were very understanding and allowed us some needed time to check out.

We highly recommend this rental property to anyone that may need a place to stay in Beaufort! We could not have been more satisfied!

Thanks again for such a pleasant stay! If we ever need a place to stay, we will definitely be back!

A Lovely Cottage in a Charming Town

  • 5 of 5

We only stayed 2 nights and sure wished it could have been longer. Cottage was beautiful inside and out, comfortable, clean and quiet. Added bonus was the price and the close proximity to everything.

Boot camp graduation stay

  • 3 of 5

The cottage was very cute and nicely decorated. The location could not have been better in relation to Parris Island. The bed was super comfortable! However, a more thorough cleaning is for sure needed. There was a chewed piece of gum on the underside of the window sill, a roach in the shower (which I am fairly sure came from the wooded area), dusty floors and furniture and especially noticed behind the fridge while sitting on the love seat. Other than that good stay.

Owner's Response: I am very sorry you felt the cottage was not clean enough. We usually have people leaving and others arriving the same day so "spring cleaning" is not always an option. I will make sure the cleaning service does a better job. Thank you for coming.

Awesome Cozy Getaway

  • 4 of 5

Absolutely loved the cottage. The owners has ensured that everything that you could possibly need is provided. Very quiet location and very private even though it is adjacent to the owner's property. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely rent again and would recommend that if you are looking for somewhere close to everything and still very nice and private that you consider renting this cottage. Very quick response time to any questions asked.

I would recommend that a space heater is provided for the bathroom as the weather is changing and it is very cold getting out of the shower. The shower head was disappointing but it served the purpose. Tried to connect to wi-fi but wasn't able to locate it on any device which was odd, but it wasn't a big deal because I was very rarely on my electronics.

Again, I will definitely be back

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review. There is a space heater in the cottage but you would not have known where it was without asking so I moved it to the closet area. I have also requested that my husband replace the showerhead. So when you come back, it will be nicer. Thank you again.

Too brief

  • 5 of 5

I had just finished 4 months of care giving for a friend recovering from surgery plus running her business to keep it open. I was exhausted and really needed some time to care for my self and regain energy. This had taken a toll on my income but I felt my mental and physical health required the expenditure.

The cottage was perfect for my needs and very conveniently located. I booked a week. I had two restful days and then Hurricane Matthew became a threat. Mandatory evacuation was ordered for the next day. So after talking to the owner I packed up and left that night to get ahead of the rush off the islands. Thankfully the storm decreased in strength and loss of life and property was not as bad as it could have been.

Not sure if trip cancellation insurance covers "acts of God"....so this has become my most expensive two night get away ever...

Owner's Response: Cathy, I am so sorry your trip was cut short. As I stated to you on the phone, I will gladly give you two free days when and if you can find time to return. Luckily we did not receive damage to our home or cottage but it is day 5 and they are still not letting people back in the county due to trees down and power lines down.
