Overview

About the property

Condo, 1 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 4 Sleeps

On the East Side of the Garden Isle, between the historical towns of

Kapa'a and Wailua, is a beachfront heaven unlike any other. It's a

place where Hawaiian kings and high chiefs sought solitude, famous

filmmakers captured their most prized backdrops, and Hemmingway found

inspiration. Now it's your turn. Waipouli Beach Resort.

Your day might start with a watercolor sunrise, a cup of Kauai-grown

coffee and a sweet papaya from the local market. Or maybe a barefoot

trek on golden sands as a shearwater competes with the shore break

for his morning catch. A passerby says, "Aloha." A lone fisherman

casts his line. A kayaker heads out to sea. And as the salt air

clears your mind, you realize it feels different here. You're at

peace.

The ocean front property is brand new and gorgeous with lazy river,

waterfalls and water slides in the garden. The 4-5 star resort is the

1st place winner of the new construction Luxury Resorts in the state

of Hawaii! It opened on December 1st of 2006. Christmas and New Years

is still available since we just got everything ready for the most

delightful vacation of your life.

Excellent Stay

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day visit to this beautiful condo. H-305 is located in a beautiful resort and centrally located to Kauai attractions and local businesses. We spotted Whales from the Lanai and observed Monk Seals on the beach. Nicely furnished and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Missing Waipouli

  • 5 of 5

My family absolutely loved Waipouli and unit H305. We are already planning our return trip, hopefully in the near future. The unit, location and island all exceeded our expectations!

Perfect!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 2 weeks and when we got home, I had to re-acclimate. The kitchen and amenities were so attractive and user friendly that I had become a resident in spirit. The nearness to miles of coastal walking paths and the proximity of any kind of shop or food makes this resort a great option. However, renting our specific unitH305 was phenomenal and our recommendations don't come easily. We are selective and will select this unit many times in the future. For us, we don't even need a card here!

Wow!! A very well appointed unit. Our group had 4 units all together and ours was by far the best stocked. The kitchen had everything we could ask for from champagne glasses, storage containers, bakeware, ample plastic ware for pool/barbeque plus 2 coolers, there was a high chair, a cot, a playpen, snorkel stuff, boogey boards, movies, games and books.

If you follow the directions for the air conditioning it will work just fine. The grounds are very nice and well kept. They were washing and rinsing all of the deck while we were there (something I don't remember seeing before).

YES there is an ocean view and you don't have to be a contortionist to see it.

We will definitely stay here if we are in Kauai again.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better starting point for all of our adventures. The condo was just as described, and then some. Vadim was responsive when I had questions, and made sure everything that was perfect. The beach at Waipouli is phenomenal. We visited many beaches on the island, but retired every evening for sunset on our our quiet, gorgeous beach. Sunrise was unmatched, and everything about the amenities was perfect. The food at Oasis was top notch, we ate there twice for dinner. The pool and gardens were fabulous. If I am lucky enough to come back to Kauai, this is where I will be!! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Fantastic Unit at Waipouli

  • 4 of 5

We were very happy with our stay here - we rented Unit H-305 and it was perfect for us. Great communication with owner and housekeeper and the unit was wonderfully appointed and well kept (all new, comfortable and beautiful). If we return to Waipouli, then we will certainly reach out to Vad and book with him (I think he now has 2 units at this location).

Reviewing H-305: Large one bedroom (we traveled with teens and they were very comfortable in the new sleeper sofa); kitchen is new and the appliances and amenities are well thought out - everything you need to feel at home. The bathrooms are very large and well appointed. And, everything is well thought out and perfect for traveling families - plenty of towels, beach equipment, soap, shampoo, bathroom tissue, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, storage for clothing and luggage, and washer/dryer in the unit. EVERYTHING is in the unit- this is by far the BEST condo we have ever rented anywhere.

Now to review the Waipouli Beach Resort itself:

Pro's: other than the Grand Hyatt, this resort has one of the better pool complexes on the island - very nice lazy river, fun slides, good seating and a nice restaurant at the pool (they also have bbq grills for guests to us).

Negative's - the traffic is VERY bad - and we are from NYC, so we know what bad traffic is like. It took us, on average about 30 minutes to travel 7-10 miles - crazy. Being in traffic like that takes away from the South Pacific/Away From It All feeling. With that said, there is a large grocery store directly across the street from the entrance to the resort and a few excellent restaurants within a couple of miles, so you can walk to some things if you prefer.

In summary, if you plan on staying put at the resort, then Waipouli is an excellent choice for its value and amenities. And, renting H-305 (or Vad's other unit) is THE BEST OPTION.
