Sunny Travels in Seagrove Beach, Florida!
Enjoy one of the best vacation spots in the world! The clear, emerald water and white sand like on a Caribbean island, but without the hassle of international travel.
Located along Florida's Emerald Coast, Seagrove Beach is one of the quaint little 30-A beach towns which also includes Grayton, Rosemary, Watercolor, and the famous Seaside.
Our 1BR 2nd floor condo in the Rollin Tide Villas has a large covered balcony which overlooks the nicely landscaped courtyard and pool. Built in 2002, we recently had the condo completely refurbished with new furniture and decor. It has benefited from great guests who take excellent care of it & it is in great shape. It is very clean and tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home, including a king size bed, queen sleeper-sofa, and a full kitchen. Our east facing balcony enjoys cheerful morning sun and comfortable afternoon shade.
Our condo is only a 200 yard walk to the beach. Have a lot to carry? We've made it easier with back-pack beach chairs and a beach cart that we keep for you in the condo. There is also an outdoor shower to wash off the sand before returning to your beach retreat.
17 miles of paved bikeways are conveniently located just outside your door. Walk, jog, or bike to nearby Seaside village (1 mile) and other local attractions.
Besides the white sugar sand beach and warm Gulf waters, the Emerald Coast is home to great fishing, golf and restaurants. Cafe 30-A and Angelina's Restaurant are only a block away from this condo.
The location and proximity to the beach and to seaside and surrounding areas is excellent. Pool was beautiful and we enjoyed the patio/deck! We had a lamp that had a burned out light that the owners sent someone to the store for us and left a new lightbulb hanging on the front door. You couldn't ask for better response than that. Decor is updated and roomy. Perfect for my daughter and I as we went in and out to be with friends and shopping.
My wife and I had a great 3 nights. Well kept condo with wonderful décor and quite comfortable with plenty of room. Everything was as advertised and it is a short walk to the beautiful beach. Loved the pool and the entire area. Already looking forward to coming back next year!
For three days, my wife and I called 8A home, as in, "Let's go back home" instead of, "Let's go back to the room."
The decor exceeds my expectations for a rental unit and I've stayed in many places along the Gulf Coast including two properties in Seaside. I felt comfortable and safe on the sofa. The bedroom was private and quiet. The housekeeping staff kept the place spotless, cleaner than any of the Gulf front towers where I've stayed.
Beach access compares with my two stays at Seaside without the crowds. The beach remains remarkable with the powdery, white sand that I remember from my first Gulf coast visit in 1977. Some beach sections along the Gulf have 'reclaimed sand' from dredging operations. Not in this area. If you don't think so, a five minute drive and a visit to the protected sands of Grayton Beach State Park will prove me right. Or, drive five minutes in the other direction to Deer Lake State Park.
This is the real Florida Gulf Coast.
We would stay again.
My family and I were in town for a wedding, and this condo perfectly accommodated me and my 3 kiddos (12, 13, 16). The condo itself was slightly dated, but very well maintained. The furnishings were all newer and in very good condition. The basic necessities were all there - including cookware and utensils. The linens were very nice, and both the bed and sleeper sofa were very comfy. It was a very short walk to the beach access, and we found it very easy to cross the road to get to the walking/biking trail. The beach chairs, boards, and umbrellas were a nice extra. We enjoyed biking, lounging on the beach, and a couple of great meals. We had no issues at the condo, but found that Jen was very helpful during the booking process, and she provided great information about the condo and the area. Overall, it was a great weekend getaway. We would definitely visit again.
Well-located with beach, good restaurants, shops, bike rental, and even urgent care within easy walking distance. Excellent, efficient communication with owner as needed. We look forward to returning!
One block off the lovely 30A and a short stroll to the public beach access was exactly what we were looking for and a great value. This condo was spotlessly clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and the beach chairs came in so very handy. We feel like we hit the jackpot, within bicycling distance of Seaside and Watercolor, grocery stores nearby, great restaurants, lovely beaches. It is off-season, and the quiet suited us well. It was a real treat to be on this beautiful beach for morning sunrises (enjoyed our coffee with beach kitty "Carrot" every day) as well as evening sunsets...we will certainly consider staying here again. Thanks for the memories!
