A great getaway with kids

  • 5 of 5

This is a great vacation home that is clearly well-loved by the hosts. The house comfortably housed two couples with two babies. There was plenty of space to spread out and for the adults to relax after the kids went to bed. Great access to a small private beach for low-key afternoons, but also conveniently close to the Lake George attractions. Unlike many vacation rentals I've been at, this house is well stocked with all the extras to make it very easy to cook and store food at home (grill supplies, fire pit, coolers, tupperware). The hosts were wonderful to work with to help plan our trip.

Great location. Small private beach

  • 4 of 5

We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some literature on Lake George Which was amazing because none of us had been there before. The home has Lake views with a nice deck and I am walk down area to a rocky beach . My kids loved playing there and it was nice and quiet.

We enjoyed a couple fires in the fire pit thing and played boardgames at the kitchen table. The kitchen was plenty big to cook a lot of meals.

When walking in the home reminded me of my grandparents home kind of stuck in time but really well loved and you can tell a lot of good memories were made there :) we really enjoyed our stay I would definitely recommend this house to most families however beds are smaller so be mindful of sleeping arrangements:) all and all we had a great trip and would recommend this house

Wonderful, relaxing vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week at this home. House was exactly as pictured and was very well maintained. Owners were very attentive to a minor issue we had while there. Beach was quiet and very close to the home. Quick drive into town. Very quiet area. Stayed with our 4 kids and would gladly return!

Loving it at the Lake!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful week we had at this delightful home overlooking Lake George! The home was clean, comfortable and has that Historic, Adirondack charm and history we so enjoy. The Beach/Lake access made it ideal for relaxation and fun for all of us.

Thanks so much for helping to make our precious time off and annual escape to Lake George a memory we will long remember.

Classic Adirondack Camp

  • 3 of 5

This house is a classic adirondack style camp. Although it is older in it’s decor (smaller kitchen/no dishwasher etc.) it is a clean house. If you have children under the age of ten you may want to consider renting something else. There are many fragile items/knick knacks in the house and a steep staircase outside. If you enjoy an evening campfire It may be helpful to know that there is no fire pit at the house and campfires near the lake/fishing from the lake are not permitted. Also, if you own a boat there is no dock access. The home is centrally located on Lake George and is close to Bolton Landing.
