Villa, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 4 Sleeps
Welcome to La Paz and my home at Villas La Posada. Below is information to help you get to know La
Paz and the accomodations at this beautiful complex. My Villa is Number 006. Please feel free to
call me if you have any questions! You can pay by personal check or credit card (additional fees apply).
Villas La Posada is a brand new complex located in La Paz, Mexico - the capital of California Baja
Sur on the Sea of Cortez. This complex can best be described as a boutique villa/condominium
residence. The Bay of La Paz, which is a wonderful place to walk and search for sea shells, is only
a half block from the Villas La Posada complex. This unit is located on the ground floor of the
complex providing direct access to the pool and Jacuzzi area. This Villa has two large bedrooms,
each with a queen size bed and two bathrooms each with a large walk-in shower. The kitchen is new
and fully equipped with all modern amenities to make you feel as though you are in your own kitchen.
For those of you who like to cook, you will also have a 15 bottle spice rack to use!
In addition to this beautifully decorated Villa, you will have access to other outdoor amenities to
include an outdoor cooking and eating area next to the pool. “The Palapa” offers a large gas grill,
full size refrigerator, sink, bathroom, tables and chairs to accommodate more than 18 people for
dining and/or cocktails. All guests also have access to the rooftop terrace and hot-tub of
the “Tower” – which offers beautiful views of the Bay, the city of La Paz and spectacular sunsets.
There is a large grocery store within walking distance from the complex. Access to the Malecon and
La Paz’s downtown area is extremely easy and just a short drive away. The Malecon offers a beautiful
waterfront walkway, where people jog in the morning and stroll in the evening, and seaside
restaurants and shops.
Thank you, Lea, for allowing us to rent your home.

Our first time in Baja California Sur, and La Paz in particular, and what an experience. First off, the house is in fact finer than described, and quite a pleasure to spend time in, especially when it's hot in the afternoon. The AC works perfectly. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, and for an amateur cook like myself, makes cooking out of La Paz's terrific markets a breeze. The host provides a wide range of information on La Paz's charms and interests, which were highly useful to us first timers. The pool was an unexpected pleasure in the hot afternoons, and the view of the Bay and the sunsets from the roof terrace on the adjacent tower were splendid. It should be noted that the condo is not on the Malecón, but is located almost on the Bay, about a mile or so further north. The area is pleasant and safe. In fact, we didn't find any part of La Paz to be unsafe. There are large US style big box stores very close, within a mile. That said, it is very easy and fast to drive to the Malecón, which we usually did several times each day. The host was fantastic during our stay, and that included Hurricane Odile! So I can certify that the condo is hurricane ready. With her help, we were able to weather the attendant difficulties with minimal discomfort. A truly outstanding host.
5 based on 9 traveler reviews
We just returned from an incredible two weeks stay in this condo. It was everything that was advertised! Ideal for two couples, with the two bathrooms. Knowing we had a washer and dryer we packed only what we could get into our carry on. We did rent a car and even with that added cost the daily price was less than a hotel room, and we had a very comfortable "home" for two weeks. We cooked a few meals and ate a few meals out. If you rent this condo be sure to use the common area on top of the tower. Great place to cook out or just to watch the sun set and see the city at night, and occasionally see the sun rise. Lea gave us great information on the area so we had some idea of things to see and places to go. We took the Ecobajatours bus (a 7 passenger van) to get from the airport to La Paz and met people who were frequent La Paz visitors who also gave us helpful information about the area. Lea has a friend that checked on us several times to answer questions and that was helpful knowing we had a "local" available to answer questions. If we have the occasion to return to La Paz we will not hesitate to rent this condo again. LOVED IT!!!!!
Thank you, Lea, for allowing us to rent your home.
We would definitely stay here again!
What a wonderful time we had at Villa La Posada! It is everything that all the reviews have said! Clean, quiet, well equipped and much more. Lea is also the best and so easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!
Fantastic, clean and extremely well equipped
We had a great time, the condominium is clean, perfect, very well equipped especially the kitchen. It has it all !!! The location is perfect, the lap pool is amazing. Since the moment you get there you feel at home. Definitely a Place you want to go back ! 😄
Well Designed, Clean & Tidy
Villas La Posada deliver just what is advertised. Common areas are clean and the pool provides a unique hot tub, lap pool & large wading area arrangement that should satisfy most vacationers. The superbly stocked & furnished Unit 006 is ground level and just a few steps from the pool. Don't miss the sunsets from the top of its highest building. (Better planning would have found us in the rooftop hot tub and barbecuing!) Sunrises are probably exceptional, too, if you can manage it. The week would only have been improved had we rented a car to enhance our exploring, but there are a few restaurants and the two grocery/everything stores within walking distance.
Feels like home
I have stayed at Villas La Posada 3 times over the past 7 years and have always enjoyed my stay in these excellent accommodations. I really appreciate all the little extras that you don't get in most places, like beach towels/chairs, as well as laundry detergent, Saran wrap etc. You do have to drive to the beach but it is totally worth it, they are the best beaches I've ever seen. I would absolutely recommend Villas La Posada to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation outside of the mainstream tourist areas.
We stayed 2 times and both time GREAT!
My family and I have stayed at this Villa two times. Our first experience at the Villa was really excellent so we were happy to be able to stay there a second time. The place is decorated in a very nice and welcoming manner. The Villa is fully furnished with everything you would need. The kitchen is fully equipped even with paper supplies. The bedrooms are lovely - the mattresses very comfortable and premium linens. The bathrooms are spacious and in perfect condition with towels in good condition. The air conditioners worked perfectly, which was very important to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable - since we were there in the summer.
The entire complex is in good condition and we really enjoyed using the pool and outside palapa area for grilling.
Our overall experience is that this is an exceptional Villa and I can gladly say it exceeded our expectations.
I highly recommend staying here especially when you want to feel at home in a comfortable familiar environment rather than experiencing the cold and limiting aspects of some hotels. We will always be willing to go back!
