If you are tired of hotels that offer little privacy but have lots of restrictions, come and relax and enjoy the Florida sun in this beautiful home.
Situated in a prime location away from the noise and bustle, our home is less than 10 minutes from the magic of Disney, Epcot and MGM, 20 minutes from Universal Studios, and less than 60 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Clearwater and St. Petersburg. In fact, it is close enough to the attraction to return for lunch, take a rest before returning for the evening entertainment. Several golf resorts are also close by.
The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The great room and master bedroom have cathedral ceilings. The master bedroom has a king bed, ceiling high walk-in closet and cable TV. There is a very large ensuite bathroom with huge shower enclosure, Roman tub and 'his & her' wash basins.
All rooms are centrally air-conditioned and have ceiling fans. The second and third bedrooms have twin beds that can be combined if needed. Everything is tastefully furnished with Florida flair and waiting just for you. An assembled baby crib is also avaiable.
I have to say I totally disagree with Joan who stated the home was not up to par. Maybe this was true (but I just don't see how), but the owner sounds like he took care of it right away since when we arrived not even two weeks later we found the home clean, comfortable and set up very nicely. There were things but nothing that couldn't be overlooked. We felt like we were visiting a home not a showcase. It was comfortable and relaxing. The home was very clean, smelled clean as well not musty. We have a large walk in shower in our home so we were so surprised to find one in the master bath and felt right at home. The beds were comfortable, and bedding smelled nice not like it sat for a long time. The pool was clean and the kids loved it so much. We were concerned about them making noise, even though they are very well behaved and according to the neighbors didn't even know we had kids. The neighborhood was nice, the neighbors very pleasant, stopping to chat and say hello as they walked by and not one of them said we should get our money back. They all told us to enjoy our stay.
All in all, I would definately stay there again. The price was right in fact when we told people we talked to in Disney what we payed and what we had they were amazed and took down the information about the web site for their future trips. We were reluctant to rent from this website but my neice went to Disney and rented from Vacation Rentals and said they were fine. We are so glad we did. My grandkids still are talking about the fun they had and the fun in the pool right out the door. haha.
Oh and I would like to end up saying I have a disability and this home was great for people with disabilities. Definately great for me, I worried I would have a hard time but I didnot.
We arrived in Florida in the morning on Saturday the 17th of March, we couldn't check in until 4 pm. We did some site seeing for a while then after noon we called the owner to see if we could check in early and he agreed, so we went to the house to unload. The house was clean and comfortable. The appliance all worked and the frig had an ice maker which came in handy as we were going to spend a day at the beach and was packing our lunch so we didn't have to buy ice for that day or for are trip back home. We had no issues with anything in the house and really enjoyed our stay. The price was so much better than staying in a hotel and was much more enjoyable. We used the pool every day. If we get the chance to get back to the area again we would try and rent the house again.
We have rented several times from Vacationrentals.com and up until this experience it's been wonderful.First, we have never complained about any property but because of the condition of this home and the customer service from the owners we felt we had to. We arrived late evening to a musty dirty home. The next morning we called the owners at 9:20 a.m.(although they are saying it was 7:00 a.m. but I have the phone records to prove the time)letting them know that the pool was too dirty to swim in, the fence was half down in the yard, the lawn was not mowed, the blinds on the sliders where on the floor, the faucet in the kitchen was hanging off and the master toilet was constantly running. After several calls back and forth the owners wife told me they fired their management company so no one was managing this property and then she gave me the pool man's name so I could call him and arrange for him to come clean the pool. The next night my daughter received a call from the owners at 9:45 p.m. saying someone was going to come by around 10:00p.m. to fix the toilet, she told them no because we where already in bed. Two days later a man was in the driveway when we arrived back at this house to do repairs, we let him in he looked at the toilet and sink and said he would be back..we never saw him again. The day before we left another gentleman came to clean the pool. He put chemicals in it and told us we couldn't use it for at least 24 hours. In the 6 days we where in this home we could only use the pool 3 of those days. On two separate occasions neighbors walked over to us and commented on how the home looked. One person thought we where the owners because they had never seen them, when we said we where renting he replied "you should get your money back" the other neighbor said people are always commenting because everyone else keeps a nice yard and this yard always looks horrible. The owners told us our deposit check was in the mail on March 21, as of today March 28 we have not received it. I did send a follow up e-mail to the owners on the 26th to make sure the check wasn't returned to them for whatever reason and received a nasty e-mail in return which I've saved as well as many pictures we took of the property. The owners told us their home is always rented but according to the neighbors we where the first people they had seen in months staying in this home. I would NOT recommend this house to anyone.
