This was our first visit to Amelia Island and we could not have selected a bette place to stay than your beautiful home. The pool was an added bonus. A well stocked kitchen, especially the spice drawer, made it so much easier for us to cook and enjoy the comfort of your lovely home. I will highly recommend this home to our friends.

Wonderful Family Getaway
Fantastic home for a family of five - 2 adults & 3 kids (ages 9-13). Home was decorated beautifully. It had a very comfortable feel. We all felt very much at home. Tons of things to do and easy to access. Beaches close by were beautiful . Definitely, a place we would like to visit a second time.
Want to live here!
This home is beautifully decorated and wonderful layout! Huge gourmet kitchen open to all entertaining areas.
Great location on island with easy access to beach! Golf cart was so fun! Would enjoy staying here several weeks a year! This is your home away from home!!
I've just returned from what may have been the best girl get-away ever. Our home was beautifully-and professionally-decorated. We had room to spread out but wanted to spend the entire time together sitting by the pool, listening to the waterfall. Going to the beach is so easy because they have chairs and towels for us there. The shopping and dining are fantastic. We all got new outfits, but fried oysters will have to be walked off. We have agreed to get back as soon as possible. After all we deserve a trip to Eden from time to time. Thanks for sharing with us.
Take us back NOW!
Our family of four had the privilege of staying in this wonderful house for our yearly vacation.
First of all, we were delighted when we walked into the house for the first time. It is beautifully decorated by the owner, a professional interior designer. The photographs online do not do justice to this property. What a great layout! The house was so well equipped with paper products, dish detergent, even coffee...everything to get us started. Sheryl was calling as soon as we arrived to make sure everything was okay. I had spoken with her several times before and she could not have been more helpful.
Our two children, a five year old daughter and eight year old son, especially loved the pool (which was serviced twice while there) and all the pool and beach toys, especially the boogie boards for him. My son really enjoyed basketball at Drummond Park and the playground at Aury Island, especially the large tree for climbing. Amelia Island Plantation is a very safe and secure paradise for families. We had lots of fun riding the bikes together on the great bike trails. My husband and I especially enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery while walking these trails.
The kids each had a bedroom and bath to themselves. New flat screen TVs in all bedrooms, one in the living room and one in the study made everybody happy!! The golf cart was really fun getting to the beach and back with all our stuff and for riding to the Village. Cooking in the kitchen which had everything we needed was a pleasure, and I don't even like to cook!
My husband and I would like to stay at this relaxing house in the fall for a couples' get away. I have been to Amelia many times and fall is my favorite time of year. It is by far the best house we've ever stayed in!
So many things to enjoy in this beautiful place we were not able to do it all. Our family will just have to come back to this great house for sure!
Best Vacation Ever!!
My family of four just returned from the best vacation we've ever had. The house was perfect for us. Our two year old slept in a crib in the master closet --- it was so large---- and we were able to be near her at night. Our seven year old had his own room, bath and tv upstairs. There was actuallynroom upstairs for another two persons comfortably. The house is so well designed that we all were able to spread out. The extra tv in the den was a perfect room for the kids, while mommy and daddy could have quiet time in the living room.
Everyone wanted to swim as soon as they woke up, which we were able to do. Breakfast around the pool was a real treat. Then we hopped onto the golf cart and headed to the beach. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks, turtles and seeing the animals at the Nature Center in the Village. Our son also enjoyed the new miniature golf. Ice cream at Marche Burrette every afternoon was something we all looked forward to. One day my husband and son enjoyed the kayaks at Walker's Landing where we all enjoyed endless sunsets almost every afternoon on our golf cart cruises.
The house is open open and full of light and so relaxing. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the kids swim. There appeared to be an endless supply of beach toys which were all new to them.
The owners are delightful to work with. One can tell an enormous amount of thought and planning went into building this house and pool with it's calming waterfall. There is a sense of serenity when you walk into the house.
Hopefully, we can return VERY soon!
Beautiful, convenient home -- truly Amelia's Best Beach House!
My family had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home for two weeks this summer and our experience couldn't have been better. The house is immaculate with every amenity imaginable. Our extended family was spread out in houses and condos across the Plantation but our house inveitably became the gathering spot for everyone because it was, without question, the best! We used the pool daily and enjoyed the golf cart for quick trips to the beach, shops and restaurants. We also got great use out of the beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and toys -- especially our 2-year-old, who was thrilled to find the big box of "new" beach toys to play with! The owners have gone above and beyond to make this home comfortable and inviting. If anything, the pictures on VRBO don't do the house justice -- it was bigger and lovelier than we had anticipated! We all agreed that this was our best vacation ever and we hope to be back next summer. Thanks to the owners for sharing your wonderful home!
