House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 4 max.
We're located on the Oeste (quiet) side of this private, guarded community.
Our house is perfect for families or one/two couples.
We have two, large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our casa is adjacent to a scenic greenbelt. Our great room features one of the largest 180-degree whitewater ocean views in the community!
We offer a view to die for ... just steps away from the beach, pool, jacuzzi ... and the surf.
Did we mention free wifi and Vonage?
Great location! Great price!

Guestbook comments from the owner
I really loved your place. Almost wanted to trade my in-laws place to stay at yours. I like the open floor plan of the living room area leading to the patio. Thank you for opening your home to us!
Great location! Great price!
He had a great time staying at Una Mas. Everything with the property was just as advertised. The owners were very responsive. Can't wait for our next trip to Las Gaviotas.
We had a great time. The homeowners were responsive and great to correspond with during the booking process. The house is very well maintained and Las Gaviotas is a great place to get away and relax!
A Perfect Place to Relax & Recharge.....
We have just returned from the beautiful Una Mas home in Las Gaviotas. It was our first time visiting this community and driving across the border, although we have been to other areas in Mexico many, many times.
First of all I want to say what an amazing home the owners of Una Mas have decided to share with those of us lucky enough to rent from them. Very reasonably priced and in the perfect location for endless ocean views including watching the surfers try their luck. This home is so well cared for and absolutely spotless that we felt at home immediately. It is stocked with every possible item you could ever need to enjoy your stay including beach, surf and outdoor items to a fully stocked kitchen with wonderful cookware, dishes and all the appliances we all have in our own kitchens. The beds are fabulous and the bathrooms are beautiful.
The community itself is beautifully maintained by friendly staff working hard to keep it looking so wonderful and it's apparent that owners work very hard to keep their homes in good condition.
I must comment about our experience as first time drivers in Tijuana though. We had good directions for crossing the border (which was extremely easy going into MX), they didn't even stop us to look at our passports. However, navigating the traffic and lack of good signage was another story. When we got to what we thought would be our exit to Hwy 1 to Rosarito, the road was closed because of work on the bridge. But after taking the "Scenic Route" though town, we finally got back on track and it was smooth sailing all the way to Las Gaviotas. We reluctantly ended our vacation on a weekday morning so the wait time at the border crossing was only about 50 minutes. The 8 lanes to the far left are for All Traffic which are the most crowded. We didn't realize that the Ready Lanes (the lanes you can use if you have a passport card instead of the regular passport booklet) were located in the middle 8 or so lanes, because there is no signage back where the lines begin. We'll know for next time.
The owners of Una Mas are so easy to work with and very responsive to every question we had beforehand and during our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, we will be back very soon and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else but Una Mas!

This was a great get -away!
Una Mas was a cozy, comfortable, clean and well- supplied place for our family to relax and surf for a few days! We enjoyed the ocean view from the large living room windows and being able to even hear the waves!! The hosts were prompt and efficient with our questions, too.
Wonderful Beach House
We had an excellent stay at this beach house. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Weather was perfect and the waves were big so we enjoyed watching the surfers all day. We will definitely be back. Thanks Dennis for a great stay and easy rental process.
"Una Mas" is a lovely home!
I was apprehensive about renting this house for a few reasons. The rest of my family is on the "other" side of Las Gaviotas. But it's not even a 5 minute walk! It's less expensive and maybe a little less characteristic than some of the fancier homes,m. But it's totally comfortable and CLEAN, so we're perfectly happy! And we're not right on the beach so we didn't know if we'd have a view... But we're one house in from the beach and the houses in front of us are one story, so we have a HUGE gorgeous view! As I sit here on the balcony writing this, all I hear are the waves. We're that close.
My husband and I are used to going to Hawaii for our beachy vacations and can't imagine anywhere being as good. But I'll tell you - being a 4-hour drive from LA and crazy affordable accommodations, we will definitely be going on a LOT more vacations here in Las Gaviotas.
I also want to mention that the owners of this house have excellent communication and have the rental process down pat. It has been a very easy thing to set up and they've given us lots of relevant information. They've actually been coming here with their kids for decades, and you can tell - it feels like a home, not a rental. I'm really glad we chose Una Mas.
From the Owner
“We've been visiting Las Gaviotas since 1983 - Baja longer. We rented this casa from the original owners for years. In fact, our kids grew up here. We're so grateful that the Lopez's trusted us to take care of their house. Muchas Gracias!”
Activity and Interests
Nearby golf courses offer stunning ocean views and
a challenging game. Horseback or ATV rides can be arranged nearby. Dining options range from gourmet restaurants to taco stands are minutes away.
The real secret Las Gaviotas' popularity, however, is
the surf. The waves break year-round and surfing is restricted to
community guests. What does that mean? While we can't promise an empty lineup (although it's been known to happen more than once) we can guarantee a friendly crowd in the water.
p.s. Don't forget free wifi and Vonage!

- This is our getaway house - not our business. We think you'll appreciate the difference. Just check out our reviews. We've just remodeled, including both bathrooms. We've added a new dining table for six, and bought a new barbecue. There's also a 50' plasma screen TV, leather sofas, and teak patio furniture. We've wired the entire house for cable. Our master bedroom (with its own bath) has a king-size bed. Our second bedroom (with bath across the hall) offers two queen beds with room to spare. Both bedrooms have ocean views and their own flat screen TVs. Our kitchen is fully stocked. Complete with a digital gas stove and microwave, blender, coffee maker and toaster oven. Our kitchen bar (seats 3), dining area (seats 6), and patio (seats 6) offer plenty of mealtime options. Please, no pets!
