This is a beautiful condo in the South unit of Windjammer with direct

views

over both the intercoastal and the beach from the fourth floor.

Windjammer is

on a narrow stretch of land with beach directly on one side and the

intercoastal directly on the other! The balcony on the beach side

gets the morning sun and the balcony on the intercoastal side gets

the afternoon and evening sun. Anybody who

knows Windjammer condos will appreciate the superior views present

from a south fourth floor unit. It has a large balcony 26ft long

with

access from both the master bedroom and living room. The master

bedroom has a walk in closet and unsuite, with views of the ocean

from its jacuzzi bath. The guest bedroom

has direct views over the intercoastal. The living room has a bed

settee

for

extra sleeping facilities. The condo is fully furnished and fitted

with all possible necessary amenities needed for a full self

catering

holiday at the beach.

The swimming pool area is fully tiled and the tennis courts are in

excellent condition.

Better than expected

This is our second time staying at Windjammer. It was our first for this unit and we have nothing but positive things to say. The views from the 4th floor (really the 5th due to under cover parking) are astonishing. The condo was cleaner than any VRBO home we have rented and the decor was up to date. Surprisingly the beds we comfortable. There is HDTV and very unusual for a rental.... A 3D blue ray player. The wifi was at times, a little slow, but we have the same problem at home with U-verse. A simple reset of the box fixes this. The condo had everything we needed to cook and to grill at the gas grill near the pool.

One of our main reasons for staying at Windjammer is the use of the fishing dock across the street. It is private to the condo and a fishing licensee is NOT required. There are no condos blocking the west side, so you get a great view of the sunset -- as well as the sunrise being unobstructed oceanfront.

We have only been here in October and it is extremely quiet. We hope to come back in the spring and beat the crowds of the summer when we heard it gets pretty busy.

Windjammer Direct ocean/intercoastal front 4th flr

We were very pleased with our stay at the Windjammer. There were men working on putting on a new roof, which caused a bit of noise, etc at times, but we realize that this was a temporary problem.

The building was clean, well maintained and nicely landscaped. We had a problem with a screen that fell out at the back in a strong wind storm, but it was fixed immediately after informing the management.

We would definitely stay here again!!

Activity and Interests

10 miles to St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city. Lots to do for

kids and adults. Alligator Farm, Marineland, historic district,

carriage rides, tram rides, many tourist attractions. World Golf

Village and Golf Hall of Fame 15 miles away as well as outlet malls.

Daytona Beach 45 miles, Orlando & Disneyland 90 miles and Kennedy

Space Center 90 miles. Come for a relaxing time at the beach with

the

kids after the hectic pace of Disneyworld or for a romantic or

solitary oceanfront retreat.

Nights of Lights Celebration November until end of January.
