Rainbow's End beach vacation

  • 5 of 5

We just arrived home from our AWESOME vacation at this AWESOME vacation rental. This house offers alot of room and areas for our group to congregate. The private dock was great for fishing and watching the sunsets. Beach was a very short walk down the quiet street. Definitely a home we will come to again. Thank you Joan and Tim!

McNeal First Beach Vacation 2013

  • 5 of 5

Sitting here enjoying our last night with the remaining of the family. Rainbow End was the perfect vacation spot for our three families to meet up. The house was at a quiet dead end street and the neighbors were all kind and respectful of the noise. We enjoyed sitting out on the top deck watching the 4th of July fireworks which were in all directions. The private sound dock was perfect for fishing. The Ocean was a quick walk and nice and quiet. The space was great and open. We were all able to have a quiet place and then come together in the great room and deck.

Bring your own beach stuff. The wind and the waves are awesome so I can see how the beach supplies were not well tended. The stairs were a bit difficult with arthritic knees but we managed. Absolutely nothing to complain about the accommodations. We will consider this again.

Rainbows End truly a gift...

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rainbow's End and spending time with our son-in-law while on leave from Afghanistan. We had plenty of room for a variety of guests and areas to retreat to for some privacy when needed. The kitchen was stocked so well that it was like cooking in my own kitchen while preparing dinner for about 10 people on Saturday night. The only complaint was no wireless internet..but other than that a perfect place to gather with family/friends. Oh almost forgot, feeding the squirrels on the deck each morning was so fun...they would almost come and eat out of our hands.

Wonderful spot for family and friends

  • 5 of 5

Rainbow's End is a truly beautiful spot for a relaxing vacation. The house is perfectly maintained, just as advertised, with enough room for as few as two or as many as twelve. The location at the end of a cul-de-sac, between the intercoastal and the ocean is perfect for privacy and quiet evenings. Topsail is a friendly, scenic place to spend a stress-free vacation and I would highly recommend Rainbow's End to anyone.

Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

Rainbow's End is a perfect vacation home, the home is beautiful with plenty of space. The home is well-equipment with everything you need and then some. It is perfect for families with children or a big groups of friends. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbor's were friendly. We enjoyed being on the sound side because it felt more secluded and it was a nice treat to see the passing boats and fish off the dock. The private beach was really nice, it felt like we had our own personal beach because there were only a few other families in our area. I would recommend this home to family and friends and our group would love to stay at Rainbow's End again.

Owner's Response: We know you will enjoy our entire house. It has many nooks that one can escape to for a quiet afternoon of reading or napping. We've added fishing poles this year for use on the sound. Fall is a delightful time of the year to enjoy Rainbow's End. Please e mail us for a fall special. Joan and Tim Farrar
