About Colin Stewart
About the owner: I moved to Leadville in 2001. I love Colorado and the mountains and wanted to move here. I drove all over the mountains of Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Wyoming, trying to find the perfect location. When we came to Leadville, I knew we had found the place. It is completely surrounded by mountains, has beautiful views of Colorado's two highest peaks - Mt. Elbert and Mt Massive. Leadville is centrally located in Colorado and within 45 minutes of Vail, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Beaver Creek. The local ski resort, Ski Cooper, is 15 miles. I can ATV, snowmobile, cross country ski, hike, and bike right out our door. My large family, 3 siblings, 9 nieces/nephews all love to come to Leadville for all of the outdoor activities.

Why Colin Stewart chose Leadville
In addition to the 2 bedrooms, there is a twin-size sofa sleeper in the living room. We can provide a blow-up twin size bed for children and/or cots. We also have a portable crib (pack and play) for babies. Just let us know what you want and we'll try to make it happen.

We loved staying at this property. It was perfect for our family of four. Very well stocked and great location. We hope to stay here again!
The cabin was absolutely perfect for us! It was so clean and welcoming. It’s actually a lot nicer then the pictures even. Location is great and the views in this area are spectacular. Hope to visit again!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The wood stove was great to warm is up and dry out our ski gear. We cabin was big enough for our group of 5. We enjoyed breakfast around the table.
No problems enjoyed location and cabin
Provided everything needed
Communicated well ahead of time. Only thing that might have been improved is more stocked toilet paper and paper towels.
Cozy, quiet stay in mountain forest
The mountain cabin had all the charm and amenities you’d expect of a mountain cabin (wood stove, fire pit) but with tbh modern comfort and convenience. We want to return!
